Victor and his Dad were very professional. Repaired the damaged windows quickly and took time to make sure each window operated correctly.

On time, within budget and very professional. Looks real nice. Downside: the door has a manufacturer defect. It has been many months and we are still waiting on a replacement door. We notified him within the first week but we had to go through the winter into now which is early spring with the defective door. I would like to give a higher rating but with the door that allows in air and noise I cannot say I am happy nor can I say whether or not I would use him again. I'm torn. Maybe I thought it would be a simple fix by removing the defective door immediately when reported and replacing with another. I just assumed his supplier would swap it out, but maybe I am oversimplifying the process and not being fair. Who knows.

Late last fall we contacted Victor Smith about painting the exterior of our home. We hired him a little late in the season, the weather was starting to turn cold which made it a bit challenging because he had to work around the cold spells. Victor was very careful to only do the painting when the weather permitted the paint to cure appropriately, and he was very flexible. We picked out the paint colors and Victor quoted us a price that was very competitive with other contractors. He advised us regarding trimming plants away from the home, and was careful to cover up my wife's flowers and strawberry plants in the vicinity of the painting. He removed the guttar system to paint behind it, then replaced it. In addition to painting the home, he inspected the siding, windows, flashing, etcetera and made small repairs as needed, such as applying new caulking to the siding seams and windows. We are pleased with the quality of his work. When we first built our home six years ago the siding leaked a little because it was not properly sealed. We have not found any leaks after Victor completed his work, the house seems to be sealed up tighter than ever. Watching Victor work, I felt like he treated out house with the same attention to detail that he would have given to his own home.

My wife and I decided to use our empty basement as an apartment for our children when they visit. We contacted Victor Smith, owner of Premiere Custom Designs, he came over and we drew out on the basement floor what we wanted. He suggested what would work within the space we had. He made a change to our plan for the bath room that we have loved. The next day he brought an estimate with the parts, labor and materials. It was a fair price I thought but learned later it lower than market estimates. This was not my first concern but a very pleasent surprise. My first concern was that the work be done well. We'd had work done before and experienced the repeated service calls to fix something that didn't get done the first time. I was worred we were in for that again. What a wonderful experience it was to have Victor doing the work. Walls were put up, sheetrocked, mudded, trimed, textured ceiling, painted, window made, electrical, lighting, HVAC ducts, trenched floor to drain shower and toilet, cabinets custom made to fit bathroom, large walk in closet, additional water heater installed, tiled floors and carpet. The addition to the basement turned out better than our plan thanks to Victor's knowledge. It now looks better than the rest of our home. My daughter wants to move in there! It took about 6 weeks and during the work periods plastic was put up to keep dust out of the rest of the house. Adhesive plastic covering was put down to protect carpets on the stairs and hall. We have enjoy the basement for about three months, there have been no call-back trips, no leaks, no electrical problems. I did not expect to have quality like this done, I cannot say enough good about Victor Smith. A very trustworthy craftsman.
