Gideon's was punctual. They were very communicative & upfront about what they could and could not do. We did have one GFCI circuit in the master bath that turned out to be bad and they came back and resolved the issue for us. Their pricing was a bit high for the type of work done (but we were in a bind, time-wise and simply needed help in a hurry) - I would likely use them again.

The work was completed quickly and expertly. The cost was estimated, but the final bill was less, which is always nice. While they were installing everything I had a few electrical questions, which were answered without any frustration, like they were too busy. Since my work was completed I have recommended them to my parents, in-laws, and numerous other people. The owner takes pride in his work, which is hard to find these days.

He was very prompt at the time he said he would come. We had been working in the garage with wood shop tools and had totally blown the gfi which was also connected to the ones in the bathrooms (25 year old home). He split the garage and bathrooms off to separate gfi outlets so we don't fight that battle anymore. Also, the breaker was damaged so he also had to replace that. Very capable and quick and cleaned up as he went along. We are very pleased with the work, Thank you!

Charles was very responsive and got us in quickly. His staff was very polite and was right on time. Charles even provided some professional advice about buying lights in the future and provided suggestions for other areas in our house. Very professional.

We had a lightening strike that tripped all of the safety switches. There were several in the house that we were unaware of and some that were on a circuit with unrelated items. They looked at every outlet to make sure that they all had power and could the unknown safety switches and what circuit they were on. They also recommended we purchase a surge switch for the breaker box. There were some switches that they installed that were unrelated to the lightening strike. If there was a repair that was easy he asked me if I would like to do it myself. He was very upfront with the charges and even came back free of charge when we noticed another light that was not working. I would definitely recommend Gideon's to my friends and family.

I could not be happier with the level of service and professionalism that I got from both Charles and his helpers. Everything went exactly as he said it would and I appreciated that he was straightforward and knowledgeable. His helpers were polite and were happy to answer any questions that I had as was Charles.

Charles was great! I called at 8:15am and he was able to come out by 10am, he gave me several options to fix our problem and even informed me of some codes that will apply to our breaker box in the future when we remodel the bathroom. He ran test on the dryer and the air conditioner to see if they were pulling to much power (they were not), replaced the faulty main breaker and even installed a new breaker for the dryer specifically so it is safe and up to code. Charles was very professional, diligent about his work and completed the service by calling Westar to inform them that the seal on our meter was broke due to the service and requested that they reseal is at the next meter check. I will be using Gideon's Source of Kansas for my electrical needs in the future!

Great communication and response time!! The quality of the work was exceptional and we were so impressed with his ability to overcome numerous obstacles that arose during the installations. I needed the electrical panel moved to allow for the basement wall to be waterproofed. I've used Gideon's Source of Kansas before and knew to expect quality and professionalism. Charles' communication in scheduling with me was excellent! He was prompt, did a great job moving the panel and the cost was quite reasonable. He is very professional and courteous. It went very well. The work was done promptly and professionally. This old house has plaster and lathe walls and they were able to rewire the entire house without any damage! I had obtained some lower bids including one from an unlicensed "electrician", but I wanted someone professional to do the work... electricity can kill. I will eventually recuperate the cost as my insurance premiums were reduced considerably because of this.

They did have to fix a leak on the roof where the power wires came in, and the owner came down and did it himself. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The workers and owner arrived on schedule and reviewed jobs that were previously estimated and bid. Leaving the TV mount to the end, the workers went about their business in an efficient and professional manner. Much care was taken with my walls and flooring when it came to the coax cable rerouting and upgrades. The TV mount was done safely and it's working fine. All connections, powered and otherwise, were tested before they left.
