Ayers Sprinkler Systems

He is an awesome guy.  I have been in this house for 11 years and so he actually installed the sprinkler system.  I cannot say anything bad about them because they are very responsive, very friendly, they listen to what you have to say and they are very prompt.  They are just awesome.  The owner of the company is absolutely fantastic and his name is Mitch Ayers.  They take calls at night time, they call you back and I have not found anything wrong with the company and I would recommend them 110%.

Awesome. That came out the afternoon I called and we're done with everything the very next day.

We were outrageously overcharged for a simple spring start-up. No contract, no estimate, no disclosure of potential charges or rates, no prior approval for additional work. We were stunned when the bill arrived. When we refused to pay the labor charges for an unnessecary second man who stood and watched (at $79 per hour), Mitch Ayers cashed our check, then started adding late fees and has now instituted debt collection procedures again us. We paid over $300 for the start up. We paid all the "busy work" charges listed on the bill that we had neither requested nor approved. We also paid for all the supplies they claimed to have used during the visit. We drew the line at the excessive labor and Ayer's attempt to bill us for a follow-up visit three days later to investigate a contoller problem they had caused and could not explain. We had been customers for over a decade and tried to end our relationship as fairly and reasonably as possible. Be forewarned. Mitch Ayers is impossible . We should never have put up with him as long as we did.

This year, we called in the spring to re-open our sprinkler system and check the heads and lines. We have a dog, and it's common to occasionally have to replace a head or make a repair so we expect to pay for those changes, but this year the bill seemed high and the system didn't seem to be optimized. We called about the issues with the south side of the house, (the dog as no access) where the grass was yellow because the heads were too low in the ground so for at least the last year, they weren't watering the yard properly. When we spoke to Mitch Ayers about the problems and the fact that we were just billed for $414.01 to just open our system he seemed offended that I would question the work... I explained that I just expected that if we were billed so much that the system should at least be correctly watering our yard. He had a tech come back out and then invoiced us another $72.73.I called and questioned the charge and he obviously didn't appreciate me calling because today I received a letter today that said,
*******************************************DEAR CUSTOMER,THIS LETTER IS TO NOTIFY YOU THAT WE WILL NO LONGER BE BE SERVICING THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM AT YOUR ADDRESS. SINCERELY,MITCH AYERS*******************************************
Needless to say... I don't think they care very much about their customers... I know they've been in business for many years, but that is not a guarantee of future business, especially now with the power of the internet.

Nice company, nice serviceman, but just too expensive for what the serviceman did. The company did adjust the price when we told him we thought it was too much so that was a plus. Definitely reliable, helpful, and on time.

The owners answered the phone in a remarkably professional and upbeat manner. They responded quickly, offered a couple of potential solutions after digging the the problem area up and taking a thorough look at things. They gave their recommendations and completed the authorized work quickly and professionally.

I'll continue using them, and suggest them to anyone who might ask.
