Horribly disappointed multiple times! Will not recommend this company to anyone who has a busy lifestyle schedule and needing a dependable service!

Have used them for several years and have had multiple scheduling problems.  Advised the company multiple times to notify us before scheduling an appointment as we always want the inside sprayed as part of the service, but this seemed to be an issue on several occasions.  On the last appointment, the company sent a technician to the house to leave an invoice at the door - no services were provided due to rain.  And I mean NO services, no outside treatment, no termite check, no inside spraying - just an invoice for $115 for no services performed with a note they would reschedule for rain (please note, this was another unscheduled appointment so the tech would have no expectation of spraying inside and it had rained all day so thus the reason it amazed us that someone would drive around just leaving invoices for services not rendered).  I have now checked multiple extermination companies in the KC Metro and NO ONE I contacted has their technicians drive around on rainy days and leave bills at customer's doors while providing no service. They did finally come out it was almost 30 days later, but then they wanted to schedule my next quarterly treatment in under 60 days, for another $115.  We will be finding another pest control company that can meet our expectations on treatment and scheduling.

Update:  After my Angielist review posted, I received an email from the company to remove my bait stations.  They set an appointment which I reconfirmed the morning of the appointment.  The company assured me they would be there - did not arrive.  Scheduled a 6pm appointment the next night with the owner.  Reconfirmed with another email.  Instead they came at 4:30 with no one home and jumped a locked fence to access the property.  In addition, filled the holes but did not tamp down the dirt, so I will still have to repair the damage around the home.  Definitely reinforced my decision to go with another pest control company.

I purchased the deal they were offering through Angie's list for a one time treatment. Scheduling was easy, and they provided their service as promised. The technician who came to the house was nice and seamed knowledgeable. Overall I was satisfied.

Advantage is great. They're a good company and really friendly. We have continued to use their services.

We moved into a new home in November and are having problems with ants. When they treated our home they said that it would take a week or two before the ants would be gone. Ten days later we have definitely noticed a decrease in the front of the house however, I have more ants in my kitchen than before. I called them this morning and they are coming right out this afternoon. I appreciate their responsiveness. Their year contract costs a little more than other companies we looked into but they were one of the few that treat inside and outside. We have been very happy so far.

Everything was fine. We were bothered by sugar ants. They applied the treatment for that and in general. Told me I could call if I saw anything in the next 6 months and did not have any subsequent issues. So a good job and well worth the cost.

We used there services for a year and were very pleased with the service and personnel. They were very polite and punctual. We only stopped the service for personal reasons but would happily use them again in the future.

Overall, the service is excellent. Over the years they've dealt with ants, wasps, and potential roaches. All of that was covered by their 90 day warranty, no questions asked.

I am satisfied with their services. I would recommend them.

Advantage came out when they said they would, in a timely manner, and performed the first treatment. A couple weeks later they performed a follow up treatment. Everything has been good since.

We initially called because we were having an unusual amount of spiders in the house, and from the time the phone was answered until the last minute of service, the experience was exactly as described by others: Professional, prompt, courteous, and effective. Three weeks after the initial spraying, we started seeing a few spiders again. I called, and they nicely explained that what had happened was that the first treatment had killed all the spiders food source, so now they were out looking for new prey, and they would either die or go outside in a few days. However, Advantage offered to come back and re-spray at no charge. They came back, re-sprayed, and gave us some sticky traps to monitor the situation. We are so pleased with the service we've received, we are having them come and treat out warehouse and our store.

I contacted two other exterminators before calling Advantage Termite and Pest Control for a third and final estimate. The previous two estimates were both for over $1000 for bed bug extermination. I called Nicole at Advantage and she told me Aaron, one of the owners, would be over to perform an assessment and to write up an estimate. I was astonished and relieved when Aaron told my wife that the problem was fleas, not bed bugs. Fleas are at least $1000 cheaper to treat. Not only that, but if the problem were bed bugs, Advantage will give you a 90 day guarantee that you'll remain pest free. Almost no one gives that kind of a guarantee with bed bugs.

It was a pleasure and a relief to find out that ethical and professional businesses still do exist in today's world.

Bottom line: you can hire Advantage, or you can roll the dice. They're the only exterminator I'll ever use.

P.S. the other two exterminators who I called before Advantage are both and quot;Aand quot; rated on Angie's List. I kid you not.

I had termite issues around one area of my deck. Advantage came out provided a no cost inspection and estimate to resolve the termite issues. They came back within a week to perform the work. No complaints with the service. Friendly and professional. If the termites were not eliminated that could change my rating, but I don't expect any issues. I'm sure Advantage would follow up if a second treatment is needed.

Both my husband and I were not feeling very well and we had a 3pm appointment. We asked if they could come out at 4 instead and they said no problem! Aaron was very knowledgeable, personable, polite and professional. He went right to work and he found the main entry way in just a couple minutes. He rolled out one entry way and he looked all around the house and suggested we use a handyman to do the work. We appreciated that because that would save us some money. usually there was a $50 fee for just coming out and he didn't charge us anything. He said he couldn't do the work and didn't want to charge us. He is very nice and I would recommend him highly!

Overall experience was very good. I did notice a reduction of insects, but hard to tell because of much house renovation after the application. Will try them again.

The phone receptionist was extremely kind and helpful in setting up my appointment. Jon came by and explained to me what he would do, addressed my concerns about their product, and quickly took care of spraying and knocking down all outside cobwebs and wasp nests. He checked to make sure that the wasps were all killed. He was friendly, explained their ongoing services, but didn't pressure me to use them again.

It was a one-time deal, and they were nice and quite professional. I used them through the coupon deal from Angie's List. They did a good job and seemed to get everywhere; however, the pests that we hired them to remove have since returned. I actually spoke with them today, and they are going to come and redo their treatments for free as part of their 90-day warranty. I have rescheduled them for this Friday. They were apologetic, very kind and professional about that too; I did not have to argue with them, pry them or prod them. They actually sent me a bill for their service after I had given them the Angie's List coupon, and they admitted that it was an error, and there was no charge. The people who came out were in uniforms and had a nice vehicle. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were excellent. Their customer service, the technician that came out and their office help were all great. They were so good that we signed up for an ongoing service with them. I sent them to my mother and they took very good care of her and they were very good with senior citizens. I was very impressed with them.

They were very punctual and did well with the work. I better call them back because I have some bugs out. They are more than willing to come back out again and re-spray with a 90-day warranty, so I am really pleased with them. They did very well with explaining things to me. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They are very courteous and prompt. They gave me a good price. I would consider using them again in the future too.

Great! It was a real surprise to deal with someone as accomodating and pleasant as Nicole. She was able to schedule me right away when I called, then happily helped me reschedule when I later discovered I had a scheduling conflict. On the morning of the visit, she called about five minutes before the appointment to let me know that Brad was running a few minutes late but was on the way. He arrived within 10 minutes. Brad was very professional, courteous, and thorough. He paid special attention to an ant problem we were having and reiterated that we should not hesitate to take advantage of the 90-day warranty if we see any recurrance of any kind. There was no hard sell of extended contracts, which I appreciated. When I asked for his advice about future treatments, he answered as if he was considering my best interests, not just trying to sell the service. Will definitely use them again and will refer others.

I discovered Advantage from an internet search for someone to take care of bed bugs and within a couple days of calling had an appointment with them to come out and assess the situation. They came out and thoroughly checked the place out and some of the contents like mattresses and while they did not find any live bugs we did see some evidence of their having been there. We scheduled 2 appointments, 2 weeks apart, for them to come in and treat for the bugs which included treating the floor and baseboards as well as taking off all light and electrical switch covers and dusting behind them. It has been only a couple weeks since then but I have not noticed any new signs of bed bugs and they tell me the stuff they use will continue to kill for up to 90 days and the dust used for the switches will work for up to a year. Other estimates received prior to finding Advantage were upwards of $1300 to use a heat treatment which evidently is being found not to be a cure-all for bed bugs. Keeping my fingers crossed that this did the trick as this is a rental of mine and I certainly don't want these bugs coming back. Oh, I should mention too that Advantage accepts credit cards which is great as who has $400 sitting around? Unfortunately I've come in contact with several companies that don't accept credit cards even when the bill is thousands of dollars and they aren't up front about it so thanks Advantage for this added perk.
