MC BURNEY TREE SVC

Description of Work: McBurney has done work for us several times. They have always been competitive, up-front and honest about the work they intend to do and the fee for the work, as well. They have always come through and fulfilled their end of the agreement.

Description of Work: Mr Brown was very unprofessional! He came to my house to give an estimate. First thing, in my yard, he started ranting about my Golden Raintree, said it was sick, would die, needed treatment. He ranted on for about a half hour. We finally made it to my backyard, where I needed the work done.The work consisted of removal of one silver maple, trimming a second silver maple, and major trimming on a very large pin oak. At the oak, he began to carry on that it needed treatment, that the number of dead branches indicated the tree was seriously ill. I forget his estimate but it was very high, especially with the added treatment. He scribbled out his estimate, most of which I couldn't read and he left. I later contacted my county extension agent, gave her limbs from my Raintree and asked for her help. She said the tree was healthy, that we'd had a couple bad seasons, but that the tree would come back. I hired a different company and you should already have my positive assessment of their work.
