DAVE WARD'S HARDWOOD FLOORS

FABULOUS! My floors hadn't been redone for 16 years and they look absolutely brand new, him and his crew were very punctual. Very trustworthy as we were out of town..I wanted a darker stain, and when Dave came out to look at our floors, he brought the stain that matched our trim, which was a little darker than what we have...AMAZING! He did a satin finish and the floors like I said are just beautiful. There was minimal dust as they plastic everything off and they use a sander that has a built in vacuum system. TOP NOTCH.. Thank you Dave for making my home beautiful again!

Since we could not walk on the floors for several hours and there was no way to get into the house without stepping on the newly finished floor we left town for a few days. All went as planned and Dave and his team proved to be trust worthy with our home. this was a great inexpensive improvement to our home.

Dave always returns calls promptly. He bid my most recent project in 2012; however, I did not elect to have the work done until this year (2015). I had kept the previous bid. The price differential was $100, due primarily to increase in materials. Because of the odor issues, we have had Dave do this work while we were on vacation. He is trustworthy and conscientious. He always does great work for a very fair price. I highly recommend him.

I left a message with Dave and he called me back right away. I set up a time for three different companies to provide me a bid. Dave Ward's bid was reasonable and I appreciated the information he provided me about stains, and type of finishes. He was also able to start the work at exactly the time I needed, so that weighed in his favor. Dave and his team did a fantastic job, they were fast, and thorough. They fixed a few areas that I had not noticed and the work was very well done. Overall, I was very happy with the way the floors turned out.

I would recommend their crew. They were very accommodating to my schedule. They were neat. They cleaned up daily. They were more than willing to come back. Because I was replacing the flooring on the main level and putting a new kitchen cabinet, they offered to come back in about 30 days after the kitchen cabinets were all set back in place and said that they would do a final coat over everything because of one board that was not right. It was incredible to me to think that someone would come back and do that. And they are beautiful flooring. Their price is competitive.

He was very professional. Clean, there was no mess when done very nice man, was there when he said and was never late got the job done one on time, And was very nice and we'll manner man to have in my home would recommend him to any body very professional Thank you Dave ward

Work was never started due to mistake on part on contractor.

WE HAD TO MOVE OUT OF THE HOUSE WITH OUR KIDS & BOARD THE DOG, NOT A LOT OF FUN BUT NECESSARY. THE PROJECT TOOK AN EXTRA DAY BECAUSE OF THE DAMP WEATHER. THE APPEARANCE OF THE FLOOR WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT ACCEPTABLE. DAVE WARD REDUCED HIS BID & FIXED THE TWO FOOT PRINTS LEFT BY OUR DAUGHTER. ALSO CAME BACK TWICE ON ALTERNATE DAYS TO IMPROVE FLOOR'S APPEARANCE.

I WAS OVERALL VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. ONE OF THE THINGS WE PARTICULARLY LIKED WAS THAT HE MOVED OUR HEAVY FURNITURE OUT HIMSELF.

DAVE AND HIS CREW WERE POLITE, ON TIME, AND PRICED REASONABLY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY SANDED OUT ALL OF THE PET STAINS (WE WERE AMAZED), AND FILLED IN THE GOUGES AND CARPET NAIL HOLES. THE STAIN COLOR IS JUST RIGHT, AND WE NOW HAVE GORGEOUS HARDWOOD FLOORS. WHEN WE ORIGINALLY TOOK UP THE CARPET, WE WERE DISCOURAGED BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE PET STAINS, BUT THESE GUYS ARE PROS AND EASY TO WORK WITH. WE MOVED MOST OF THE SMALLER ITEMS TO THE GARAGE AND BASEMENT. DAVE AND HIS CREW MOVED ALL OF THE HEAVY ITEMS, AND RETURNED THEM AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE. DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS (5 DAYS FROM START TO FINISH), WE SET UP A BED IN THE BASEMENT AND LIVED THERE. THE FUMES WERE NOT TOO BAD AS LONG AS WE KEPT THE BASEMENT DOOR CLOSED. WE ARE VERY PLEASED.

DAVE IS VERY RESPONSIVE IN CORRECTING PROBLEMS I POINTED OUT. HOWEVER, I WAS LEFT WITH A CREW THAT I COULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH VERY WELL. I ASKED THE CREW IF THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE UP THE TOE KICK AND HEAT VENTS AND THEY SAID YES AND STARTED TO DO THAT. WHEN I RETURNED APPROX 30 MIN. LATER THE FLOOR HAD BEEN SANDED AND STAINED WITHOUT REMOVING THE TOE KICKS AND HEAT VENTS. I COMPLAINED TO DAVE AND HE CAME AND HAD THE CREW TOUCH UP THE SCRATCHES ON THE TOE KICKS. THE HEAT VENTS STILL HAVE SANDER AND STAIN MARKS. I WAS GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE CREW WOULD PUT DOWN A VARIETY OF STAIN COLORS FOR ME TO CHOOSE FROM. THE CREW FOREMAN ASKED ME THE FIRST MORNING WHAT COLOR I WANTED. I REPEATED THAT DAVE HAS SAID THEY WOULD PUT DOWN SEVERAL. HE THEN ASKED ''APPROXIMATELY WHAT COLOR DO YOU WANT?'' CONFUSED, I SAID ''MEDIUM BROWN''. LATER THEY ONLY HAD MEDIUM BROWN AND ONE OTHER TO CHOOSE FROM. I FELT IT WAS MY JOB TO BE THE QUALITY INSPECTOR FOR THE CREW.

DAVE, THE REFINISHER, CAME TO ME WITH GLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS, QUALITY WORK, FINISHED AS PROMISED AND EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.

DAVE WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT FLOORS. THERE WERE A FEW ISSUES WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH, BUT HE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND WAS WILLING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES IN A TIMELY MANNER.
