Service went fine except someone had forgotten to empty their truck before backing into our yard to pump our tank, so they had to drive back out and then come back a second time to finish pumping the tank out. The tank riser project went great and they cleaned up well when they finished back-filling.

The day set for the installation of the lateral field happened to be my day off, so I got to see the entire process from
start to finish.
From setting up level to site and measure the depth to
ensure an even grade to the back filling and grading of the yard.
Everything was done professionally and well to my satisfaction.

Eddie is fantastic. We contacted him for a new septic system while the ground was still frozen and there were 3 jobs in front of us. We were desperate as our tank was overflowing. He came out often to pump the tank and kept us informed of when he could install our system. Despite the wait we were very well taken care of.

I called him today and asked questions about my septic system and was really pleased with the information he gave me verbally over the phone.

I left a message at the business phone and Eddie got back to me within 24 hours. We briefly talked over details of the job and set an appointment. They arrived on time, assisted with locating and finding the cap to the tank, and Eddie answered all my questions about the tank and it's maintenance. He and Bill were finished with the job in less than an hour. He was knowledgeable, professional and very responsive to my situation. This family-owned businessman may not be the most high-tech, but he knows what he is doing and treats his customers well. I'd definitely recommend and use again!

I called on May 7 and left a voicemail early in the day. Eddie call back in the afternoon and provided me with date and time he could come out to pump out my septic tank. This was done two days later. They showed up on time and got right to work providing the service. During this he answered all my questions and let me know I could go longer between pumps.

He and Bill arrived on time and with a replacement pump. However, after investigating further, Eddie determined that a less costly remedy would do the trick, thus saving me hundreds of dollars in replacing the pump.
I mentioned in a previous review that Eddie was the epitome of a professional, providing a service level that I'd like to receive from others I use. I would highly recommend him for any service you need with your septic system.

Eddie was very responsive in helping address several problems in a quick and effective manner. Based on my past experiences, I can say that he is more knowledgeable about septic systems than anyone I've every encountered. In fact, he probably provided the best technical service I have received since I moved to KS some five years ago.

It cost me about $4000. He was very responsive on the quote. I was impressed. I liked supporting a local guy who has been doing this since he was a kid. It was a family business. That was one of the reasons I went with him. I would use their services in the future too.

Bonner Springs Septic, did an outstanding job of replacing the two septic tanks in our back yard. We highly recommend them for septic tank work. The owner of the company, Eddie Bjorgaard, has decades of experience. He is excellent at describing exactly what he is going to do, why he is doing it, and what the result will be. He was right on the mark - he delivered exactly what he said he would. He himself was there doing and supervising work throughout the project. He was assisted by Bill, another guy who has years of experience installing septics. Eddie also quickly brought in pumpers and haulers whenever they were needed. It is obvious he has a network of quick contacts. Furthermore, he has considerable experience in working with the County environmental department (we are in Johnson County, but Eddie also works in several different counties), which performs several inspections throughout the process. We found Eddie through Angie's List when we were looking for someone to inspect our septic tanks. They had been on the property at least since we bought our home 15 years earlier (and probably since the home was built). We were planning to sell and wanted to identify any potential problems ahead of time. We had never done anything with the septics and were assuming they would be ok. Eddie arranged for them to be pumped, then inspected them. He showed us clearly that the tanks were unlikely - almost certainly would not - pass the formal County inspection. After probably 26 years of service, the concrete walls were weakened and damaged in several places. He then suggested we replace them with County approved polyurethane tanks (Infiltrator brand), the new versions of which have strong internal supporting struts (older versions suffered from not having sufficient strength). The advantage would be that since they were lighter, there would be less damage to our yard in getting them to their resting place. The tanks are somewhat more expensive than concrete tanks. The process then encountered several delays brought about by the snows and rains in March/April 2010. As soon as there was a break in the weather, Eddie was on the job. One of the septics was right next to a fish pool and extended under the back patio [photos included] - a violation of current regulations. Eddie and Bill did a nice job of sawing back the patio and removing the old septic without disrupting the small fish pool. They then installed the new septic, leaving the fish pool intact and bringing the septic system into County ordinances. It was an impressive effort to behold with excellent results. After all was completed, it was necessary to re-seed the lawn where the heavy traffic had gone. However, Eddie did a very good job of re-grading. The company we called in to re-seed, Ryan Lawn, said "This is the best I have ever seen." We highly recommend this company. Eddie has been wonderful to work with.

Eddie, the owner, and Jim were wonderful to work with. Eddie came alone for the initial visit and took a look at my system. He told me I was simply using too much water for my system and recommended that I get a high efficiency washer. I decided to have them install a new lid that met city code so they could do a more thorough inspection of my septic system. It was hard to see with the smaller older lid. He did not recommend this as he stated no work was needed, but I wanted to go ahead and get it done just in case. They explained everything in advance and made sure all of my questions were answered. They were thorough and prompt as well. They also gave a great recommendation for a company who could come out and pump the system. They will usually do the pumping themselves, but were so busy and needed to make this recommendation. After the new lid was installed, they were able to do a more thorough inspection of the tank and pipes that go to the house and yard. They said everything looked just fine and it gave me peace of mind.

The top of our 34 year old Septic Tank caved in - we noticed it on Sunday, July 12th. Joined Angie's List the next day and selected Bonner Springs Septic Service. They came out Wednesday, July 15 to look it over and left some of their equipment. They installed a new septic tank the next day and completed the work Friday, July 17th. We were very pleased with their service and that they completed the job so quickly. They left the back yard in good condition and now all we have to do is plant grass seed! We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Another pumper had broken my when un clogging it. I did not know this at first. Eddie figured it out and also found my tank was leaking out of construction holes. He fixed everything and also work on the outlit. He worked in the pouring rain to get the job done. Outstanding! This man knows septic systems and I will never call anyone else.

Excellent! I would recommend him completely, five stars,2 thumbs UP- way up!!! They were very efficient and professional. He was very accessible and called and checked with me numerous times before proceeding with unforeseen problems he came upon. He was amazingly prompt and polite and knowledgeable. He took time to explain the situation clearly from beginning to end. The work done previously was a mess and I feel confident he went the extra mile to redo the mess correctly and promptly. I wish he was and electrician, contractor, plumber, painter, the works.... I would hire him for everything!

I called Eddie and he was easily accessible and was happy to understand what we needed and gave us an estimate in short order. After we received the estimate, I called Eddie and let him know that we were interested in going forward. He was happy to schedule a time, within the next 7 days. Showed up on the day promised and plowed through the job in one day, because he was nervous that it was going to rain and fill in the holes. Hard working guy and his crew. Returned the next day to clean-up and remove the equipment. He turned over drawing of the system, which we never had up until now, and gave us the proper paper worked needed by the city. Eddie and crew were hard workers go getters, willing to put in 110% to get the work and finish the job. I would recommend them to family and friends, without a doubt.
