The portraits themselves are very good. Excellent quality and a large variety of poses to choose from. However, in the two years between having our sons' portraits done he changed his policy. For the first, if you purchased a certain amount you got all the proofs free. We did so. For the second, it didn't matter how much you spent, you still had to buy the proofs if you wanted them. I asked that he give us the same deal he had two years previously but he refused.
We ordered a certain package level ($600) but he "misordered" and gave us a much larger size print on one than we had asked for. My husband picked them up and the total was $750. He was confused but thought I ordered more than he realized. I cannot prove it, but I feel like the "misorder" on Shannon's part was done deliberately.
 Shannon is very nice and talkative, but very gossipy. I spent a few hours with him on each shoot and learned very quickly not to give him any personal information about my family or friends as, since I heard so much of this type of information about his other clients, I knew it would be public knowledge. I didn't feel this was professional at all.
I loved the portraits he did of my boys. They were great. But I would not use Shannon again due to the very large overcharge and the gossip.
