Service was prompt, professional, honest, and courteous. When I called and explained what was happening, the owner was informative and asked very specific questions. He gave me good advice and saved me money up front before he even came for the appointment. He called prior to his arrival and got here on time and immediately got to work. The leak was fixed quickly considering he had to move the refrigerator and come through another door to complete the work. I have used the Appliance Doctor once before and I will use him in the future for any appliance problems.

I was surprised at how quickly he made it to our home because he said he had a few calls before us. He quickly found the problem and replace the part and was in and out in no time! Just FYI, this ad says that the service call charge is $55.00 but our bill says that the Service charge was $60. The dryer is working great and he advised us how to keep it working great. when John and Jim arrived (same day i called) they found that i did not need the expensive timer, they fixed the rest, even installed a new dryer hose and cleaned under the dryer (it was nasty!!) Fair, honest, love these guys!

I asked out of curiosity what his rate would be for the fix without home warranty, and he was $50 less than others I had called before deciding to use home warranty deductible of $75.

Checked the freezer and the fridge.  Freezer was working ok so checked fan and it needed to be replaced.  Replaced the fan.  Very quick fix, professional.

He took it apart and told us everything wrong with it, and he was very nice. He was very friendly, nice, knowledgeable, and informative.

It was fine. He was responsive, knowledgeable and professional.

I called the Monday before and asked him about replacing the baffle but I did not have model number so I called him back Tuesday. I was called back on Wednesday with the price and we set up appointment on Friday. Was called Thursday to double check our appointment was still ok. He arrived at the right time 800 am. and completed the repair in an hour.

Our washer stopped in the middle of a cycle. We called John Smith of Appliance Doctor and he was able to come our really soon. Fixed it without a problem and was on this way. A fine, Christian man. Will call again!

Jim told us he couldn't fix the problem because he hadn't seen the problem personally. He also said he expected it was a control panel issue but that he could not order one unless he personally saw the problem. He also said that the issue might be a main board but that those will not be available for our several year old washer for at least one year, (ironically)our Old Republic Home protection expires in slightly less than one year. Hmmm.

In my opinion, Jim either did not know how to test the control panel, didn't believe us, is so beholden to the company that he cannot do an honest job or just didn't want to mess with it.

Old Republic and Appliance Doctor came well recommended, but not by me.

John showed up right on time, went to work to diagnose the issue with the spin cycle. Once he finished running the washer through its tests, he advised that I needed a new computer board. It was up to me whether or not to spend the money to fix this machine (that I hate) or purchase a new one. John was honest and to the point. I would definitely call him again for appliance repair.

John could easily have replaced old parts but felt the refrigerator did not yet require them. Very knowledgeable about appliances and very honest technician. Would definitely recommend the Appliance Doctor for any kitchen appliance problem.

We called and the repair man said he would be at our home in 30 minutes. Wow--so far --so good. Took the dryer apart, replaced the heating element and was gone in about an hour. Friendly, but went about his business quickly. The cost was reasonable--I didn't feel like I overpaid. Sears wasn't going to make it for 2 weeks--NO way was I going to go that long without a dryer!!! I'll be calling the Appliance Doctor again.

I thought he did a very good job. When I contacted him he ask a few Questions about what the dishwasher was doing and he knew the right questions to ask. Then we made the appointment he showed up with the right part and the job ws done in about 45 min. and has worked great ever since.

Our frig stopped cooling yesterday and I thought it needed to be scrapped but it started running again so I knew it was a control or sensor so I called John at the Appliance Doctor, he was able to come within 2 hours and fixed the issue.

The representative came out the same day that we called. He fixed the fan and it has been working ever since. We were very happy.
