Turf Boss

Horrible experience with Matthew and Kevin. Started ok but it’s been 2 yrs and haven’t finished porch, pavers etc. very hard to get hold of them. I keep calling/texting them about pavers, grass landscaping issues but no response. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.

We contacted Matt Kelly because they are a local company.  In fact, we had to contact him twice, and he did finally get back to us.  We asked him for an annual mowing agreement for my mother in law's home, which she lives on roughly an acre of land.  
The crew comes out weekly, and mows her yard.  I'm not sure if there is anyone in their office, but the best luck I've had is directly calling or sending an email to Matthew.  The estimate came back within a week, and we moved forward with his company.  So far, for the summer, his crew has done a great job mowing, trimming and blowing the grass off the sidewalk and driveway.

It was excellent, outstanding overall service. They are very hardworking and very accommodating.

They are pretty responsive and they did a great spring cleanup.

.We have a very large front yard which is visible from the road. They do a beautiful job. They mow it and we have received compliments for the yard and we even had somebody come up our front door and ask who we use. They do keep it well manicured with no weeds. We live on two acres. We will continue to use them. They were running behind on Friday last and so they called ahead to make sure if they could come out at 8 O clock at night. They wanted to make sure that we did not have any people over or company or anything that would disrupt our evening. So if they are coming after 5PM they are always courteous to call before they bring their mowers and start the machines. They are very conscientious about that.

I came to know about Turf Boss through Angie's list. Their price was comparable with others. They were prompt. They did what they said. They will be back for another application. I do not know if they do every month, but they will do throughout the summer. I would use their service in the future too.

Because of our previous relationship with Matthew Kelly, we requested that Turf Boss provide a quote for various landscaping and lawn work services. They responded promptly--Matthew was on site within 48 hours of our request. Their quote not only included the things we had listed but offered additional recommendations for improving our property. Their price was reasonable and offered a number of payment options. We accepted their quote, and the work they have done (and continue to do) has been excellent!

The fertilization and weed control was done well. The mowing was not done very well. The grass was often cut too short and they would forget to trim around our play set. On more than one occasion they put a large divot in our yard with their mower where there is a dip in the grass by the water meter. I was simply told that the grass would grow back. I was not pleased with this.

The Turf Boss crew have been taking care of our lawn for 2 years now. We live on two acres and with my husband's travel schedule, it's hard for him to keep up. Our yard is a gorgeous, thick plush green carpet of grass. The crew of 3 come once a week and are very meticulous and attentive down to the last detail. There are no grass clippings left in our mounds, beds, or sidewalks after they leave. If you see a problem with something, Chris Arney is out right away to take care of it. Friends who drive by our home (we are on a main road) ask who does our lawn and we proudly say, "Turf Boss here in Zionsville". The crew is a great group of friendly guys.

Owner Chris Arney is very knowledgeable and professional. We have used him for the past six years for mowing.

They do a really nice job when they mow the lawn. We have them come once a week. They seem to be pretty dependable and I would recommend them to anyone.

They clear the snow if it is over 3 inches. Cost is per visit.

I contact Chris after seeing an article in the paper about aeration. I had already received several bids from other companies for aeration and over-seeding. Chris' bid, unlike all others, gave specifics such as the rate of grass seeding and his article in the paper also discussed the optimal number of 'cores' per square foot. Two days after accepting his bid, I came home and my yard had been aerated and seeded. I have also asked for additional quotes on other landscaping work and hope to use The Turf Boss in the future.

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DO NOT SCRIMP ON FERTILIZER, THE WEED CONTROL IS PERFECT, THEY PROVIDE TIPS BY EMAIL ON MOWER HEIGHT, WATERING AND GENERAL LAWN CARE. WE HAD 2 ASTERS IN OUR GARDEN THAT ACCIDENTALLY WERE SPRAYED. THEY IMMEDIATELY PAID FOR THE PLANTS. THEY PROVIDE A PERSONAL TOUCH THAT THE LARGER COMPANIES LACK.
