About us

Maryellen is an Associate ASID interior Designer affiliated with the Indiana Design Center in Carmel. Together with husband Mike we offer our clients a wide rage of home services. We use one of Indy's best painters, finished carpenter, re-upolsterer, seamstress, tile and flooring. Handyman Mike handles general home maintenance tasks, light plumbing and electrical work.

The desk was difficult to assemble, and took more time than we had hoped it would, but they did an excellent job, so we were glad that we had hired them to do it. They are friendly, prompt, and efficient.

Sassy Green Interiors is the best! They have several subcontractors working with them, and they are all outstanding. Tim, her carpenter, is professional, excellent at what he does, and a joy to work with. Maryellen coordinated our kitchen project and made everything easy and seamless. She helped select granite countertops as well as hardware for new cabinet doors, sink and faucet, and everything was perfect. I generally defaulted to Maryellen’s judgment in selection and am pleased that I did because the kitchen is amazing. When the work was finished, Maryellen’s husband mounted a TV on the wall for us. I can’t say enough good things about Sassy Green Interiors. We love our “new” kitchen and I highly recommend their services!

I used Sassy Green Interiors handyman division to install a 36" bath cabinet in our master bath toilet room. They showed up on time and I showed them the area we wanted it installed. After they did numerous measurements and deciding it would be lighter to remove both doors to lighten the weight, they easily hung the cabinet and reattached the doors. Over all they did a great job and I would use them again. I have already recommended them to others in our neighborhood who will be inquiring about their services.

Description of Work: I needed some major and minor projects all over our home. What they have accomplished so far is beyond my widest dreams! They transformed a bedroom into one of the best bonus rooms I have ever seen. They have a great eye and talent for style. They are a joy to work with and offer great ideas. Description of Work: They refinished our 40 year old kitchen and utility room caninets and replaced hardware and hinges. It was a difficult job adapting our cabinets to the new hardware. Significant alteration was required to accomodate the changes, but they completed our project to our satisfaction.

Couldn't have been better. Mike and Maryellen are professional, fairly priced, and just nice folks to have in our home. We continue to call them as we settle into our Fishers home. Very pleased and we confidently recommend Sassy Green to anyone who wants old-fashioned service from quality people.
Description of Work: Mike and Maryellen have performed many tasks since we bought our home 6 weeks ago. From paint selection to staging, to window treratments and more, they have been a great contractor for us. Their painters scheduled us in a tight time frame and did outstanding work. Mike recently handled a challenging job to enable us to place our big screen above the fireplace, including revising the mantel detail. Looks like it was always there. When we selected ceiling fans, Mike was quick to schedule us and complete the work.

Description of Work: I wanted to update/revamp my great room, but not have to invest in new furniture. Maryellen gave me tons of suggestions and ideas and also helped me select fabric for drapes and dining room chair pads. She will help as much or as little as you want. I will definitely call her back in for my next project!
