This is the third time we have used Performance and they do quality work. They are also very good about explaining what needs to be done and working with the insurer. They tell you that the delivery date is an estimate, which certainly is understandable, but they have not proactively let us know when that date would be missed - this would be helpful to know for planning purposes.
The body work is perfect. We did have a few things that the dealer worked on that didn't work correctly, and Performance was very helpful getting the dealer (Penske Honda) to re-fix these items at no charge.

We did not have to pay because the other insurance paid for it. They were fine, fair, held to their quote and got it done on time. It was a very minor job and wasn't a lot of body work; it was only about $600. What they did was very comfortable; you can't tell anything ever happened to the car. The dealer recommended this company and I had never used them before. I think they did a good job and got my car done before they said they would.

Quality of repair work is excellent. When they were through with the vehicle, I could not tell it had sustained hail damage.
Excellent work, poor communication
However, I was extremely happy with the results. It looks like nothing was ever wrong. I was very concerned due to the nature of the damage (there were 2 small 'bumps' on the roof). It looked like a manufacturing defect. Additionally, the roof is black - not a very forgiving color. I was also very nervous since I had just spent 9 weeks optioning this car just the way I wanted it, then waiting (mostly) patiently for it to be built and then take a boat ride across the Atlantic. This car means a lot to me, and I trust it in the hands of Performance Collision. In fact, it has been there a second time for repairs when someone hit me in a parking lot and drove off, and it is going back later this week after someone rear-ended me.
"I am truly sorry for this situation. I have added additional training for my office staff to insure this does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention but I am sorry that we failed at our customer service."
