Scheduling was easy, and very pleasant. Mission Mechanical Technician Aaron arrived on time, and provided a detailed investigation into the sump pump alarms that were going off every time it rained. Aaron tested each sump pump, and concluded that one of them was going bad. Aaron replaced the pump, and then tested the effectiveness of the entire system. During the complete system test, Aaron determined that the drain line had a blockage, and showed me how he came to the conclusion. He clearly knew his job, and how to inform the customer of the causes which created the need for service. I like the fact the Aaron not only explained what was wrong, but why it went wrong. Great service!

I bought a policy for the year so that the Fall they would check out the furnace and check the air conditioning in the Spring. The price of $200 includes the Fall and Spring inspections. I don't know how to grade the price because I have had trouble with other service providers in the past and they are so nice that I am not hung up on the price. My sister has used them as well.

They did an outstanding job.  They came at the last minute.  They were affordable.  The plumber was dependable and polite.  I have not had any trouble with the kitchen sink or with the drain either.  I highly recommend them.

I had a frozen pipe in my rental property while I was out of town on business.  I called the number on Angie's List and my call was answered right away.  They scheduled the appointment for the same day as we were in an emergency situation.  They were supposed to come at 5pm and called at 6pm to say they would not make it until the next morning.  They were very transparent about the schedule and communicated well.  There were a lot of frozen pipes in the area so I understood why they were running behind.  They said they would be there first thing the next morning and showed up as planned before 9am.  The work took about an hour and the charge was $275.00  seemed a little steep but not extrodinary since it was an emergency.  They communicated with my tenant very effectively and were good to work with.

Mission Mechanical was the first plumber that i could get to come out.  They were responsive and so quick!  They sent a plumber in the early evening despite terrible weather.  He was able to stop the leak but was missing one part to completely finish the job.  He patiently answered several questions for me while he was here.
They automatically scheduled a second gentleman to come out and finish up a few days later.  They were able to make the repairs without cutting a big hole in the drywall, which was very impressive considering the burst pipes!  
 My interactions with the plumbers they sent to my home- as well as the folks with whom I've spoken on the telephone - have all been positive and pleasant.  I'm glad to know about this company!

After we turned the valve off to fix something in the kitchen sink, the valve started leaking. Since that was beyond our capability to fix, we had to call the plumber. Mission Mechanical send help right away. They were able to come on the same day, only a couple of hours after our initial call. The plumber worked fast and left the place in clean condition. Again we were impressed by the work ethics and friendliness of the business.
We have used their services a few times now and we are so pleased.

They said they would try to come on Wednesday, but were unable to.   They called and advised they would be in first thing in the morning.  They came out right away then and fixed the problem.  They were wonderful.

The service person was a very nice, respectful, polite man. That's the only positive thing we can say. The office wasn't nearly as helpful as he was.

We called to ask for emergency service on our water heater that stopped working. First, we were told they would have someone out by noon. Then, we received a call they wouldn't be out until 4. That was ok, since it was a winter day and their busy season. However, there was another call to postpone the appointment until the following day or 2. When we said we would find someone else, they showed up within a couple of hours.

As mentioned, the fellow they sent was very nice and informative. However, the office wanted to charge us $560 for replacing a $40 part on our water heater and another $500-$700 for cleaning out the furnace. Now, the $90 we were charged for simply assessing the problem would have been applied to the overall bill.  But, $1100-1200 seems horribly over-priced for the labor involved in a 2-4-hour job. 

We replaced the part on the water heater ourselves and will be contacting another HVAC service that advertises a "21-point tune-up" on furnaces for much less than what we paid Mission Mechanical to troubleshoot.

In reading your review, I was most alarmed by our punctuality and responsiveness marks. At Mission Mechanical, we know and understand that your time has a value and that our promptness is of utmost importance when planning your day. Our customer service and scheduling department works hard to give our customers an accurate time table to which our technicians will arrive. We try our best to allot enough time for our technicians to complete their jobs regardless of the day’s business. We apologize, not only, for postponing our arrival, but attempting to delay your service to the next day or the day following. We will continue our efforts to get better. I reviewed our technician’s notes on your call and spoke with the individual that proposed the pricing for repairs. The water heater had a bad gas valve and conversion door which our Whirlpool parts supplier quoted for much more than $40.00. According to our supplier, the gas valve was a revised model for that brand of water heater due to past problems, which is why there was a leave time of 2 days. I will be sure to contact that supplier to inquire about the price difference. In addition to diagnosing the water heater, we also evaluated your furnace in full to determine its condition and possible necessary repairs. When giving such a diagnosis, we conduct a full inspection of the HVAC system, informing our customers of not only what is necessary for the equipment’s operation but items that could prevent future breakdowns. In essence, we perform a “21 point inspection” every time we look at a customer’s heating or cooling system. We feel it is our responsibility to give our customers a full picture of their heating and cooling system’s functionality, from the initial cause of failure to what could happen down the line. In your furnace’s case, the price proposed was for much more than just cleaning out the furnace. The pricing was based on replacing a rusted out flue pipe that exhausts harmful carbon dioxide from the furnace, as well as, cleaning the evaporator coil which could prevent a breakdown in your cooling system when spring arrived. These two tasks could easily take 4 hours or more depending on the accessibility. I will evaluate the pricing further, but our pricing is rigidly based on a system that we have consistently tested in the marketplace. Knowing that we are not the biggest plumbing, heating and cooling company in town, we work to make sure our pricing is competitive, and in most cases, lower. Again, thank you for your review. I hope there is a way that we can one day regain your business. The provider was on time even though our appointment was in the middle of the day. He checked the disposal and gave me a diagnosis and explained it well. we could make an informed decision and replaced the disposal. He was very fast and efficient and left the place clean.

It went fine.  They came and prepared the primary issue then there was a secondary issue, they said they need to order something then I never heard from them.  The gentleman was very professional and cleared the issue relatively quickly.  The quality of the service was good.  The negative feedback was, I have an outdoor faucet that needs to be replaced and he didn't have parts necessary to do it on the spot and he ordered the kit.  He said he will contact me but never heard from him.

Contacted Mission Mech. around 9/18/2013, stated that I'm A.L. member, and I that wanted an estimate for bathroom replacement. I spoke with Jon an owner, who pleasantly stated he would be out the next day. I was given an estimate of $409.00 after 10% A.L. discount. Jon, gave me measurements to follow when purchasing the sink and toilet, he requested that I contact him with the measurements before the purchase. The following day he called me and stated, "that the toilet size was a 10" rough-in not a 12" standard". With this information I tried to purchase the items off the shelf at several big box stores, I was told that my sink and toilet had to be special ordered. I planned this remodel for the following week during vacation, however several weeks went by before we could move forward. Finally, after receiving the sink I e-mailed Jon and asked if we could at least get the sink replaced, they sent out an installer (Matt), who did a good job and was pleasant to work with. Finally, after almost three weeks we were able to pick up the special order toilet, I contacted M.M. to tell them it was ready for install. They sent out a licensed plumber, who after pulling my old toilet stated, "that the rough-in size was NOT 10", but standard 12". The installer replaced the old toilet and we contacted Jon. Jon apologized and asked that I return the toilet and get the correct size, which I did. The following day Jon called to apologize again and stated, " that he was reducing the fee $100.00, and would have an installer out at my convenience". The installer (Jason) came out that day and did a very good job setting the toilet and putting in new valves. The total cost for installment was $250.00, after A.L. discount and punitive damages i.e. my lost time and energy. I do believe that this was a mistake, an unfortunate long one that put us behind in other projects. The good part of this mishap is that M.M. does correct their problems up front and for that I gave them a better rating.

We had an unexpected leak in a pipe on a Friday afternoon and were hoping to get it repaired quickly so that we could turn our water back on for the weekend.  We called Mission Mechanical, and they squeezed us in before the end of the day.  They replaced the pipe and added a shut-off valve, all before the end of the day.  The work was done well, and we really appreciated the very fast responsiveness.  They were professional and nice, answering our questions and following through exactly as promised.  The price was not cheap, but seemed to be reasonable given the nature of the work and the fact that they responded so quickly.  As a result, we feel like we got good value as well as excellent quality.
