I called them but they were not able to come to my house on that day, but they were willing to come out on the following day, but I can't wait, I need to fix my electrical problem right away, so they just gave me an advice over the phone on how to fix it, and it works.

We purchased a condo that was approximately 30 years old and in need of a lot of updating - especially on the electrical side.  Since Haywood Electrical had helped us several times previously, I called David Schoenbaum who promptly responded, provided an acceptable estimate, and scheduled the work to be completed within a week.  The work done by David and his assistant was very professional and everything was clean when they left.  I will continue to use Haywood Electrical as my "go to" electricians.

A breaker went bad in the electrical panel causing the air conditioner not to work. I contacted David and he came out to my house within an hour of my call. He was able to complete the job promptly.  David was very courteous and professional and personable. I thought his fee was very reasonable. I would definitely use Haywood Electric for any future needs.

I bought a very nice, near-new ceilikng fan at a garage sale. When Dave from Haywood Electric came over for an estimate, I asked him look it over and make sure everything was there. Everything was, installation went well and it looks great.
Adding an overhead light in a room with a cathedral ceiling seemed quite the challenge to some, but not to Dave. He climbed into the attic, found the area to feed the line, added the new box and then installed the light switch. My new pendant light looks amazing! I've decided to swap out some light fixtures so I've already rescheduled Haywood to come back.

After arriving on schedule David made a brief trip to pick up the extra parts that were needed and promptly installed the outlets and was very personable to be around and talk to while the work was being completed. Very professional in all ways as I would definitely hire David again for other tasks!

I called David, he normally charges a minimum of $150, however for this job he only charged me $75. He worked with live wires and for me it was worth it. David guarantees his work indefinitely. I had a great experience with him, he was very personable and very efficient.

I called the electrician I always use and he did not answer or call back. So I went to Angie's List and found Haywood. He answered his phone! He said he could be out in the morning, but wanted to see if he could troubleshoot our issue over the phone; that maybe he could help us to get it working and then we wouldn't have to pay him to come out:) He was incredibly nice while walking my husband through everything. He gave us time out of his Friday night and didn't charge us anything.
He is going to be our electrician from now on. Thank you, David!

I had called another electrician that told me I would have to special order a switch. After two weeks of not getting my phone calls returned, I called Haywood Electric. Dave came right out and looked at the switch that needed replaced. He told me that it would be able to be replaced with a regular switch, and if I did it myself it would only cost a dollar or so. If he sent someone to change it, it would be $100. He told me if I changed the switch out myself and that was not the problem, he would come out and fix it for free.
When I replaced the switch and it did not work, he came out within an hour and quickly found the remote part that needed removed and rewired. True to his word, he did not charge me.
Prompt, honest, and quick to respond means I will be calling him again with any future electrical needs.

David fit me in last minute at the end of the day (7:30 at night). Lowes came out to install a new cooktop and found that the breaker had blown and needed to be replaced before they could do the installation So I called David and he fit me in. He confirmed the price up front before he came and we agreed on it, then he took care of everything quickly. I would certainly call him again.

On short notice, David arranged his schedule to add another job at the end of the day to his already full schedule. Since my wife's family was due to arrive the next day, she was very anxious about not being able to heat the pool due to the lower temperatures.
David arrived a little early and took care of the problem immediately. As previously, I highly recommend Haywood Electric for any electrical job as he is very reliable, honest, and fair.

I had a landscape light that while trimming the plants the wires were cut at multiple places. I tried to connect the wires but it did not come on. So I called David and he helped me figure the issue out and I was able to fix the issue with his consulting!! He saved me from unnecessary spending my money!
So far the best electrician experience that I had!!

Good experience overall. Once he got in to do some work, it was discovered that we actually needed a lot more work done. He was flexible with us in the price since we were on a tight budget, such as providing options for us to do our own drywall patching to save some money. The project took a little longer than initially expected, but only by a couple of days.

David was great! When I called to schedule an appointment for my repair I couldn't accurately describe the placement of the ceiling fan (18 foot ceiling vs. 24 foot celing) so he offered to come over right away and measure. He arrived super promptly to measure and provide estimate. Although he was not able to install the transmitter for the celing fan as it was too large to fit in the unit (replacement part I ordered was a bit larger than the original) he quickly troubleshot and provided an acceptable soluntion. He Rocks!

Dave did an excellent job with the electrical and was very professional. He was prompt in arriving for the work and did everything we asked him to do. He took pictures and provided a detailed list of his work to give to the inspector/new buyers. He was a pleasure with whom to work and we would definitely hire him again for any electrical work we had.

I recently sold my home and through the home inspection a few minor items were required to be repaired (described above). I called David, who was recommended by my realtor, to have the work performed. We talked on the phone and I explained the situation to him and he gave me a rough estimate as to how much it would cost. He emailed me an estimate later that day and proceeded to call me the next morning with a time when he could come by. He was very punctual, as well as professional and polite. Within 10 minutes he had the breaker panel apart and explained to me (by showing me) what the problems were and how he would correct them. It took approximately one hour to complete the work.
I must say that David was by far one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. His demeanor and courtesy were above and beyond what I would have expected from a professional contractor. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone wanting to have quality electrical work done on their home, office, etc. I would definitely make use of his services again if I were staying in the area. As it is, I am recommending to the buyers of my home that they use him for their future electrical needs.

Some type of small animal had eaten through the electrical wiring for the swimming pool heater. David was able to stop by to look at the damage within a few hours and provided me a reasonable estimate to do the work. Although it was late in the day, David offered to pick up the necessary supplies at Home Depot and return to make the repair right away. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and fair in his dealings. i highly recommend Haywood Electric and will continue to use his service in the future.

David Shoenbaum of Haywood Electric was a joy to work with. When I phone him late Friday afternoon, he volunteered to come out early the next morning, despite having out-of-town company at home, to install an electric outlet in our crawlspace after I explained to him what was needed and the reason for the "urgency" of the electrical job. David arrived on time, early on Saturday morning, went down into the crawlspace, came back up to tell us what he would be doing to hook up the electricity from the current source of power for the first sump pump to a new outlet (required by code) in the back part of the crawlspace, got some materials from his truck, and installed the outlet. The job took about a half hour to complete. We were then ready to go with the rest of the project which included mold removal and vapor barrier installation! David Schoenbaum is an extremely personable young man, very responsible and understanding, eager to develop a wider clientele, conscientious, and very affordable. My husband and I would call him again for electrical work, and plan to do so to have him install under-counter lighting in the kitchen, which we talked about before he left that Saturday. A young company with a young electrician who has had a good deal of experience in the electrical field and who does good work at a reasonable price.

He is really friendly, comes when he is supposed to, calls when he is on his way, and he knows what he is doing.
