After 8 months, and a dozen phone calls to the owner, our patio heater remains disassembled and in need of parts. Numerous promises to return were not met. A request for a return of our advance payment has been ignored. One excuse after another. I can't imagine this guy is still in business.

"Some difficulty in obtaining the correct parts at first but the rest was our fault, and no excuse. We accept responsibility the customer fell through the cracks. We will gladly resolve the situation and buy dinner if customer accepts."

They did exactly what we asked them for. We have an extra large fireplace and they did an excellent job customizing it for the box. They cleaned up after the work was finished and we thought the price was fair for the work they did. The quality of their work and the responsiveness were excellent. We would use them again in the future if needed.

He's terribly busy. He wasn't too prompt in taking care of my needs, but he eventually did so I won't say anything bad about him. He does good work and I've used him quite a few times.

This was an older gas grill, so it was wonderful to find someone to repair it. He responded very quickly and he even painted it without me asking him too. It looks great works wonderfully. We are very pleased.

The experience was excellent. Mr Haas kept his appointment to provide the estimate. His original scheduled repair date needed to be moved out a day because of workload, but he kept me informed along the way. He and his associate arrived on time as re-scheduled, the entire operation took less than 2 hours. They cleaned up thoroughly after their work and stuck to the estimate exactly.

We have a manufactured fireplace from the 70s. It began leaking heavily during the heavy rains earlier this year. After calling around to several companies, we discovered that the manufacturer of our chimney had been out of business for many years. None of the distributors contacted carried the parts to replace the chimney cap. Lee came out and custom fit a new cap. It took him less than a half hour. It hasn't leaked since. Very satisfied.

Things were fine. They were very prompt. They followed up. They explained everything in detail so it was easy to understand what they were doing. After they installed the gas line, they got rid of the stuff that was left behind. They did a fantastic job.

Owner Lee Haas was very professional and precise. He was extremely cautious to make sure that everything that was being ordered was correct. He came daily to make sure everything was proceeding to our liking and his standards. Installers, Doug, Jon, and Mike, were very courteous and took pains to be precise in their craft. They even discovered something that had been installed by the original company that was not to code and potentially dangerous. Tarps and sheets were spread on our floors to prevent accidental damage. A tarp was spread in our garage to collect all the debris; and when they finished in the garage, the entire garage was swept clean! Some stone was ground off on our deck; and when they completed, they took a hose and washed off the entire deck! We are extremely pleased with our new fireplace. And, we are very pleased with Firewater and the way we were treated!

We had a new furnace installed and paid the heating contractor to install a new flue liner. Firewater was the subcontractor who was hired to perform the flue liner installation. After our furnace was installed, we were told we would be contacted by Firewater to schedule the flu liner install. It took Firewater nearly a month to call and schedule the appointment, and this only happened after we called the heating contractor to complain twice. They did apologize for not getting to us sooner, and it was during the holiday. However, I feel they could have been more prompt in calling to set up a time. Originally, they scheduled to come out between 10 and 12. The day before they called to see if they could come earlier, and so we moved the appointment to between 8 and 9. They finally showed up around 10:15. This was not a huge problem, since someone was home all day, but again, not very professional. Overall, I believe the work they did was good.

LEE HAAS WAS PROMPT IN SHOWING UP FOR THE ESTIMATE AND THE INSTALLING CREW (BUDDY & DOUG) WERE NEAT AND SHOWED UP PROMPTLY AS WELL. THEY DISCOVERED THAT NOT ENOUGH PIPE WAS ORDERED & HAD TO RETURN A SECOND TIME TO FINISH INSTALLATION. THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT LAYING CLOTHS TO PROTECT THE FLOOR & CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS.

THEY WERE RECOMMENDED BY O'MALIA'S FIREPLACE SHOP IN CARMEL. THE RECOMMENDATIONS THAT I GOT FROM ANGIE'S LIST DIDN'T PAN OUT SO I CALLED O'MALIAS FOR A RECOMMENDATION. FIREWATER SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT AND SQUEEZED ME IN. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DID. IT WAS EXTREMELY SEAMLESS.

FIREWATER CREATED PROBLEMS EVERY TIME THEY TOUCHED MY FIREPLACE. OMALIAS IS TRYING TO HELP ME SOLVE THE PROBLEMS THAT FIREWATER CREATED. FIREWATER IS ONE OF THE WORST CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD. I STARTED WITH A FIREPLACE THAT WORKED, AND NOW I HAVE A FIREPLACE THAT NEEDS SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS IN REPAIRS.

HE IS AN ASSOCIATE OF CARL WORLAND WHO IS ON ANGIES LIST UNDER GAS GRILL REPAIR. CARL WORLAND COULD NOT DO THE WORK FOR HEALTH REASONS & HE REFERRED ME TO MR. HAAS. LEE RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS VERY PROMPTLY & THEN WAS ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY. HE HAD GIVEN ME AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE WHEN I DESCRIBED WHAT I WANTED DONE & THE ACTUAL PRICE WAS AS QUOTED. THE CHARGE WAS BASED ON THE # OF FEET TO RUN THE GAS LINE. I GUESSED IT TO BE 30 FEET & HE CHARGED ME FOR 28 FEET. I THINK HE WAS VERY HONEST BECAUSE TO BE SURE I WOULD HAVE HAD TO GO INTO & MEASURE THE CRAWL SPACE & THAT WASN''T GOING TO HAPPEN! ALSO THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF OF TWO PLUMBERS QUOTES!!
