I called the company I had purchased the soil from and asked if they could even out the lawn with a water-filled roller or if they had some other suggestion for a fix. They said they would contact Earth and Turf for a fix and if I wasn't satisfied with their solution, they would fix it for me themselves. However, Earth and Turf called right away and offered to put in new sod the next day. It doesn't look great but I feel confident that next Spring it will be just fine. Donnie at Earth and Turf was very pleasant and easy to work with and I'm pleased with the fix.
"My Bad".for not calling office, but I was in the hospital and still quite ill the day the crew was here.
I just trusted Donnie to do a great job. oops
Several of my neighbors asked me who I decided to use. I know that she called you for an estimate and got the same run around trying to get someone to her home. She chose another company with a very competitive bid. I was so glad about that - you hate to recommend a company who is not giving the service you expect.
Sincerely,
Mary l. Cooling
We then contacted Donny to talk about helping us clean up our landscape. We used Earth and Turf for creating trench edges around all our landscape (we have a fair amount), cleaning up weeds and then mulching. The outcome was great. They made recommendations on a darker bark mulch that they thought would fare better through the winter (and it has). We are getting ready to have them do some additional landscaping for us in 2012!
