Started off well but very disorganized.  Called me the morning they were gong to start with no Heads up time.  I frantically emptied my kitchen cabinets into laundry baskets and boxes as they gave me NO NOTice they were coming.On

DLS Construction was fantastic in this project.  We are so pleased to have been able to have them perform the work on our kitchen remodel and other upgrades.   Dennis and Patti Smith have brought together some of the best craftsmen in the area to perform the various aspects of our job.  The results were far beyond our expectations and what we had envisioned our home could look like.
 
Dennis was able to schedule his crew around our needs.  He was able to come up with great solutions to any issues which came up during construction as well as at times come up with better alternatives to our desired project plans.  Patti?s design expertise guided us in selection of materials, color, and finish bringing the final appearance to a more sophisticated level than we had thought possible.
 
We were astounded by the carpentry finishing work performed.  Work performed per our request  not only was done exactly as requested but generally was further enhanced in details.
 
The damage wood floors were refinished to a better than new appearance.
 
Cabinet and other trim woodwork were refinished with color and finish matches that made them blend perfectly into all the other original finished wood.
 
Tile backsplashes were done as an artwork that immediately attracts your vision.
 
Other smaller portions of the job such as plumbing connections, electrical fixture relocations, drywall repair, and entry door installation all were done with such care as to give the impression that the entire success of the job depended on them.
 
All of the DLS Construction approached the job as if it were being done for their own homes.  They were polite, knowledgeable, trustworthy and responsible, maintained a clean site, and were extremely helpful in sharing insights about their work and recommendations to me on associated projects that I would be assuming with this kitchen remodel.
 
I recommend DLS Construction if you are seeking a contractor to perform any type of remodeling work.  The work will be done with excellence and will not require the frustration of having to have the contractor get his crew to return over and over until the work is finally done right.  Most important, the results will be those you will be pleased with and proud to share with others.

We have been very happy with them. We were very pleased with them. There were always some problems there and they took care of them. They did a good job. Their price was fair. They did a quality work with good craftsmanship. I would use them in the future.

The design aspect was fabulous and we are very happy with the materials chosen. That meant a lot to us as that is a weak area for us. They helped us choose all of the paint colors even though they did not perform that service. They were very good to help us on the front end getting so many details worked out. Our destruction element slowed things down and they were patient with us on that. They even worked with us, encouraging us to do an easy job in the basement, which freed up the money for the painting we wanted to have done prior to moving in (they were not doing the painting either). We are happy with the end result. The only down side was a little slow response in some small details at the end after we moved in. Good people to work with. : )

My experience with them was fantastic. They were problem solvers. They showed up on time with the right people to get the job done. It was a pleasant experience and the outcome is amazing.
