The "crew chief" Zach, came to talk with us and walked around the house explaining what would be done. We had a downspout that needed to be attached to the brick.  He said that would be done.  There was some possible wood rot by the front door and he said that someone would be able to fix that if needed.  The contract said the wood would be pressure washed.  He used our house hose to wash off the wood the evening before they started to paint.  The painting was average .  The young kids that painted did not know how to fix the downspout. The crew chief or owner did not fix it either.  The wood rot section in the front door area was looked at by someone who came at their leisure time.  They gave a price to repair.  My husband said okay to the price.  They never came back to fix it.  The crew chief and owner were not aware that they never returned.  There were areas missed and not painted. The area behind the vines on the screen porch were not painted.  You could tip the trellis forward  and reach behind.  There were several other areas in different sections of the house that were missed.   It took awhile for return calls and for return paint visits.  The last straw was when we hired someone to fix the wood rot strip by the front door and to replace a large strip of wood on the side of the house that College Pro painted over that had wood rot.  The contractor showed us a large section at the tallest point of our house that College Pro failed to paint.  It looked as if the ladders went that far and they stopped.  I feel like the owner, Drew , " Nickel and dime'd  us.  As an example the quote said all window frames painted.  That only included the outer frame.  The inside painted strip was the old faded paint. It looked awful. . The calking was minimal if done at all.
Carson, the young 18, or 19 year old worked hard.  When you hire College Pro you expect that you will have college age or just graduated seniors who will be mentored by the crew chief and owner but at a reasonable price with professional  and timely follow-up. This was not the case
My neighbor paid less to have his house painted and he had the insides of his windows painted, the inside of his screen porch painted and no issues like ours!!
When spring comes and the College Pro signs start popping up like spring flowers, take the time to research who owns the Franchisee and look for reviews.
