He is perfect. We like him a lot. He does a really good job.

My husband and I are do-it-yourselfers. However, shortly into this project, we learned that our ivy beds were full of poison ivy as well; we needed help. We chose Dick Gross from Angie's list because of other positive reviews. I called Dick on a Friday afternoon; he arrived at our home promptly the next morning (on a Saturday!). Walking around the house, he assured us that the work was not as daunting as we believed it to be. He talked us through the work that he would do, and assured us that he would be finished within a week. When he called with a quote on Monday, we agreed. Dick began working on Tuesday morning and was finished by Friday afternoon. He's a one man show, and does most of the work using heavier equipment. I was a little concerned at first that the equipment would leave ruts in the yard, but he assured us that he would smooth out any tracks left by the truck or equipment and re-seed any grass that was damaged - which he did. Friday morning, Dick talked us through the last of his work, and gave instructions for the care of our new lawn. Our yard looks completely different now; he even found a specific type of grass that would grow in our yard (which is mostly shaded), recommended shade plants for our landscaping, and agreed to return in 5-6 weeks to re-fertilize and check on our yard. He's even offered to provide us with river rock to complete our landscaping when we're ready for it! Timely, self directed, hard working, and motivated. Dick asks good questions and follows through with his work. The quality is excellent. We were home only for a few moments each morning when Dick was getting started for the day, and were amazed by the changes we saw when returning home. He calls himself semi-retired, and does this work because he enjoys it. Formerly a golf course builder, Dick really knows his stuff. I've already referred him to friends!

I recommend him to anyone. He is very professional. He is very friendly he is just a nice guy to deal with. He was here on time. I was very pleased with his work and would use him in the future.

HE BROUGHT HIS LITTLE BACKHOE IN OUR YARD FOR A QUICK FIX AND DID NOT EVEN CHARGE US. HE WAS VERY HONEST AND LEAD ME TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT COULD HELP US WITH OUR PROBLEM.

PLEASANT, PERSONABLE, HONEST AND EXTREMELY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES. VERY HARD WORKER, WHO TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK. A VERY PLEASANT MAN WHO REALLY KNOWS HIS BUSINESS.
