CRAIG'S TREE STUMP GRINDING & SNOW PLOWING

I contacted Craig and indicated that I was ready for him when he had time. He indicated he would be able to be out the next day between 11 and noon. Craig showed up about 15 minutes early which was not a problem for me and proceeded to grind the six stumps. he also uses 36 in chainsaw to cut a large piece of trunk in 2/3 for me so I could move it. I used Craig last year for a stump removal than recommended him to my father. My father was very happy with the service. I called him again this year for these six stumps and told him next year when I take out the next six trees he gets my business. Craig is friendly professional prompt and efficient. You won't be disappointed

Craig responded very quickly and removed the stumps the same day I spoke with him. He ground the large pine stump well below the surface and also removed the large surface roots. He did a great job and we would definitely hire him again.

I had called Craig last week about coming out to grind a stump. He mentioned that with all of the rain the ground was going to be very soft and his equipment would likely leave ruts in my yard and he wondered if I wanted to wait until this week. He also wanted me to call 811 to get markings just to be safe, which I did. I called Craig you let him know that the markings were down and I was ready when he was available. He called me today and said that he was finishing the job and he could swing by to take care of it. Craig arrived and was friendly and professional. He drove his rather large stump grinder into my backyard and ground the stump out deep enough for me to put another tree into the hole. He suggested I use a pitchfork to raise the ground where it was softer causing ruts to appear. I am happy with the way the job was performed and would definitely hire Craig again. I've given his phone number to my father who has a larger Tree in need of having the stump removed

Craig arrived promptly. I thought he was only going to give me an estimate, but he brought his grinder. After we agreed on the price, he ground the stumps. He was careful not to disturb any other plantings. He was thorough.

The process was very easy. There is a minimum charge which we did not exceed. We set up an appointment but he called and was available a day earlier! We were not home for the earlier time but he left a self-addressed stamped envelope for us to sent him a check for payment. When we came home the stump was gone!

I contacted Craig's Stump Grinding & Snow Plowing by phone around 9:00AM on September 21, 2015. I spoke directly with Craig and explained that I was seeking an estimate on the removal of a medium size stump from my front yard. Craig stated that he would be in my area in the afternoon and would stop by during his lunch. He stopped by my house around noon and provided a very reasonable ($125.00) estimate to remove the stump from my yard. Craig explained that he had extra time before his next appointment to remove the stump and completed the job at that time. It took him about 40 minutes to successfully remove the stump. Craig was professional, knowledgeable and provided very prompt service. Overall, I am very pleased with the organization and have recommended this company to my neighbors and friends.

We had two large trees removed from our front yard.  The company that removed the trees and did an excellent job recommended Craig's Tree Stump Grinding to complete the job.  In the meantime, some guys showed up at our door saying they would grind the stumps for us.  We thought they were the ones recommended by our tree removal crew.  Come to find out they were another crew driving around the neighborhood, looking for homes that were having tree removal work done.  they misrepresented themselves as being on Angie's List and when I asked if they were sent by our tree removal company, he said yes.  It ended up a huge fiasco - they left before finishing the job at our request.  At that point we called our tree removal company and they got in touch with Craig, told him what had happened and Craig came out that same day (Sunday) and completed the work for much less than the other crew charged us.  He was equipped with the right tools to do the job right.  Didn't take him very long at all and he did a great job cleaning up the other crews mess.  Was very sympathetic to our situation, responsive and reasonable.  Would definitely use him in future projects.

Great, he showed up right on time just like he said he would!

They did exactly what they said they were going to do.  They were on time and they did it right.

I had contracted with two tree services to remove the stump and crown: one refused to do the work when it was learned that the buried utilities were within the area to be worked in, and the second contractor removed only the stump to just below ground level leaving the crown which consisted of a large root system.

After the landscaper could not remove the crown without the roots taken out I called "Craig's Tree Stump Grinding & Snow Plowing".  Mr. Shelby arrived the morning I called, looked over the area to be worked in and explained to me what would be accomplished.  After I had spoken with Mr. Shelby, I felt comfortable with him doing the work, and that it would be completed in a way that the landscaper could finish his work. He placed a shield around part of the area he had to grind so the chips would not hit my house and would hold the grindings to a smaller area for cleanup.  W

Mr. Shelby came across as very knowledgeable in his profession and was an easy person to talk with.  If I needed work of this kind performed again, I would not hesitate to calling this contractor!

He came right over in an hour and did a great job at a fair price.  Don't waste his time getting an estimate just have him over to do the job!

Craig Shelby noted immediately that he needed to locate an electric fence and spent considerable time doing this efficiently among the root area. Worked promptly and efficiently with his time. Replaced fencing and left me with reminder to turn fence back on in garage and suggestions for removal of tree dust. A job put off for a long time is now pleasantly done!

Craig answered his phone on my first call even though he was on top of a roof at the time. Craig gave me a price over the phone based on my estimate of the size of the tree stump. Craig agreed to come do the job at 8 a.m the next day. Craig arived right at 8 a.m and completed the job in about 45 min. Eventhough the area was bigger than I had estimated Craig said he would honor the price he quoted on the phone. Due to Craigs responsiveness and attitude I gave him a little extra cash for the great job!!

The sevice was awesome!!! Craig came out the same day as the call and removed 3 stumps. Couldn't have been happier with the quick response and excellant job!!! Thanks Craig!!!!

Craig was great to work with. With all of the rain there were very few days to fit the job into and Craig was very flexible. We had a dry day, he came and got the job done. I would recommend Craig.

The phone call was made before noon and the work was done by 1:30 p.m. That's prompt service!! We have had stump grinding done in the past, but none as thorough as this time. Great care was taken to protect a young Japanese Maple, which was next to an old stump, from the grinding process.

Craig responded to my phone call within an hour and was on site within 2 hours as he said he would. Other contractors never returned my call and one gave me an estimate over the phone, which was grossly high! Craig showed-up promptly, did the job in about 15 minutes and moved on. Great job! But, more importantly, in this day and age, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Excellent. He exceeded my expectations and and cleaned up by blowing all the saw dust of my deck.

Mr. Shelby quickly and completely removed two stumps for me. He was pleasant and professional. The price was lower than for similar jobs I have had done from other companies.

We were pleased with his company's work and would hire him again.
