In addition to drilling, we perform service calls and maintenance checkups and replace pressure tanks and pumps in existing systems. They put in a bladder tank for the well and did an inspection. $1000. They put a RAG over the pressure valve instead of a cap. A RAG on a new pressure tank. When is this ever an appropriate business practice?

"Looking into this it appears you are correct. We dropped the ball. The tech made notes in our system to follow up, but the office did not see it. Thankfully this doesn't happen very often at all. Unfortunately it happened to you. We have actually changed our protocol for this type of a situation since this happened. Seems we are busier than ever and constantly needing to upgrade our processes. Sorry you found a weak spot in our system. I am sorry about that. This wasn?t a matter of poor workmanship as much as dealing with your unique ground though : ) As for the mess in the yard... yes if it gets to the point of needing a well (like happened at your home) it is messy. Of course this is all covered in our paperwork we gave you before we drilled. Fortunately we don?t end up needing a well drilled as we have become very skilled at saving wells.
