Overall, I gave the experience a B. Things seemed to go okay initially, but then when he finished he told us to go buy a 5 gallon bucket of sealer for about $80 and seal the driveway. We kind a thought that should've been his job, but my husband went ahead and sealed the drive. Then, a crack developed the first winter--a big crack. We thought Brock guaranteed against cracks for 1 year, so we called him to fix it. He told us there was no guarantee against cracks, just faulty concrete due to a bad mix. He wasn't very nice about telling us that the crack wasn't his responsibility, and my husband had to ask him what to do to fix it. He wasn't helpful about telling us what we could do to fix the crack. In any event, we called several other contractors to ask about crack guarantees, and we were advised that no one guarantees against cracks, so apparently we misheard. Still, the way it was handled left us a little upset. Other than the 1 crack, the rest of the driveway has held up well, so I suppose overall the job was done well.

Overall they did pretty well. We had a crack right away and it took me a few months to get them back out to fix it and we still have a slight crack. Other than this, it went fine.

This job was done exactly as Bill Brock said.. They arrived on a Monday and by Thursday they had completed the job. He sealed the drive once and said he would come back to reseal it in late autumn. Bill was on the job every day--all day. I wanted my walkway to look different and after some discussion, I also had a photo, he said he knew what I wanted. It is perfect. He also solved some drainage problems that I had that other workmen had been unable to solve. From the beginning my instincts were to trust him. I was right!

Bill Brock did an excellent job replacing our concrete stairs. He was able to give the concrete a special finish that exposed the stones and made the stairs look older in order to match the house. They look better than I expected. I highly recommend him.

They were very careful not to damage anything (plants, etc) around the area. They were very clear explaining what they were doing. They cleaned up well and were quite professional and friendly.

He was excellent. He did very good work.

Returned my call right away and left and estimate in timely fashion. The work was done soon after and looks great. Matches old concrete very well. Very pleasant and professional group.

EXCEPT FOR RAIN DELAYS, EVERYTHING WAS DONE TIMELY AND IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. WORKERS SHOWED UP EARLY. ALL DELIVERIES (CONCRETE AND DUMPSTER) WERE ON TIME. WE WERE NEVER INCONVENIENCED DURING THE PROCESS.

MR BROCK WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, THOROUGH AND DETAILED IN HIS ESTIMATE FOR THE JOB. HE CALLED AHEAD (2 DAYS) BEFORE STARTING WORK, WAS ON TIME AND ON SCHEDULE WITH THE JOB. TOOK GREAT CARE IN PROTECTING WORK FROM UNEXPECTED RAIN AND SNOW, AND RETURNED PERIODICALLY TO CHECK ON WORK. REMOVED ALL DEBRIS.

HE IS VERY PERSONABLE, CLEANS UP, HE SHOWS YOU WHERE THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT FIGURES IN AND HE DOES A VERY GOOD JOB.

HE DID A FABULOUS JOB. HE AND HIS CREW WERE POLITE. I HIRED THEM BASE ON MR BROCK'S KNOWLEDGE AND COURTESY. THE END RESULT WAS A BEAUTIFUL CONCRETE DRIVEWAY.

BILL GAVE US A FAIR PRICE. HE SHOWED UP JUST WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE FINISHED THE JOB WHEN PROMISED. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. HE DID NOT ASK FOR ANY MONEY UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION.

HE WAS EARLY!! WE WANTED TO PUT A BRICK BORDER DOWN EACH SIDE OF THE WALK AND HE POURED IT WITH A LEDGE TO SUPPORT THE BRICK. HE WAS CONCERNED WITH OUR SATISFACTION AND THE LEAST EXPENSIVE OF THREE OTHER BIDS.

WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

GREAT RESPONSIVENESS WHEN I CONTACTED HIM ABOUT PROBLEMS THAT DEVELOPED OVER THE WINTER. HES PROMISED TO REDO IT WITHOUT TRYING TO LAY THE BLAME ON ANYTHING ELSE. WE HAVE CONFIDENCE IN HIS ABILITIES.

THEY PROBABLY RUSHED THE JOB DUE TO BAD WEATHER. THEY WERE UNWILLING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS OR SETTLE THE DISPUTES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENT THEM TO ANYONE.
