VCR Repair
It went great, except for the fact I felt like a moron. Chuck also let me know it's not a good idea to buy these combo units.

TV Repair
The TV worked pretty well at the time, but the picture sometimes "bowed" top and bottom of screen. They advised I get it repaired since these sets are generally more reliable and easier to repair than LCD's or Plasmas. While doing the repair they apparently messed something up, as the picture started to shut down and go black on them during their testing. They kept the set for 25 days before giving up and returning the TV (the initial time estimate was a week to 10 days) They refunded my $120.00 when they returned the set, but now it does not work at ALL: They likely ruined it so no one else can repair it either and refuse to pay me the value of the set, which I estimate to be about $200 - $300.
