They are sub-contractors with Home Depot. They were reasonably priced. They were very patience with us. They came out a few months before the installation and gave us an estimate. They were nice enough to give us the time we needed to make the decision on our own. There was no pressure. They were very professional. There was an accident and they ended up being late as a result of it, they did call me and let me know what was going on. They would not leave until the job was done. It was very well done and I appreciated what they did. I would use them again.

On 10/31/2013 I had my furnace inspected and it had a sizable crack in my heat exchange. I got an estimate from the folks who did the inspection, but could not get financing with them. Fortunately I had a Home Depot line of credit and they put my in touch with Kevin from Dr. Climate. I explained that due to this crack I wanted to replace the furnace ASAP. The next morning about 9:30 a.m. (11/1/13) their sales rep Jerry came out. He checked out the furnace, measured the house, made some suggestions and observations that were very helpful (my previous furnace was too big for this house and that may have accounted for some of the issues we've had with uneven heating, frequent turn-on turn-off, etc.) I had heard that a two-stage furnace was the way to go and Jerry suggested a Trane XL80 Two-Stage Furnace. He also said that we would be fine with the Trane Single Stage that was less expensive, and I appreciated his willingness to sell us what we needed rather than something with a lot of bells and whistles that we didn't need. We did decide to go with the XL80 which seemed to be a good fit for the house and our budget - a little more quiet and energy efficient compared to the basic, One-Stage models. In addition, they would include a new humidifier and programmable thermostat in the price.
I wasn't prepared to sign off immediately as I had another company coming to give me an estimate at 11 a.m., and there was no pressure from Jerry. After the second estimate, I felt that the product and price being offered by Dr. Climate were superior, and called Jerry. He was back over at my house by 1:30 p.m. and arranged for a next-day installation. The installers, Alex and Carlos, arrived early Saturday morning, and were professional and courteous. Kevin also came and installed the thermostat and assisted the installers. He explained some things about how the thermostat worked, made helpful suggestions about keeping all the vents opened and the air returns clear, and pointed out that my air-conditioning a-coils were too small (these were installed by another company) and could cause some issues, but did not require any immediate attention. They also made sure that my water heater was lit and working properly (because of the gas interruption). All in all, it was a pleasure to work with all of these guys, and the job was done by the early afternoon. From start to finish, I was impressed by their integrity, willingness to share helpful information, no-pressure approach. I'm very happy with my new furnace and I will definitely use them in the future for any maintenance needs. I highly recommend them.

I think they re very fair people. When I first called them, they quoted me at $550.00 for the service. After inspecting the unit, he told me it would only come out to $450.00. They were very honest people.
