The estimate was quick, scheduling was convenient and the installers arrived on time. The installers did an awesome job with the finishing of the new windows. When completed they left my home clean and looking like new. Would definitely recommend them for this product. Thank you.

I can't say enough positive things about this company.  After researching and finding them on Angie's list, I called on a Saturday morning to ask them for an estimate to replace two basement windows that were ready to fall apart in my 1900's home with glass block.  I was told they'd be out on Tuesday, would leave a brochure (because they could measure everything from the outside) and would call me on Wednesday with an estimate.  They did exactly that, and the work was completed a week later.  I asked for an afternoon appointment which they gladly accommodated.
Funny story, I learned that these guys were actually who a general contractor subcontracted to do the same type of work at my mom's house.  My mom and I are both so glad I found them directly and cut the middle-man out this time - no upcharge for the GC who essentially brought no value-add to the process.

We had a fellow from Bizik come out to give us an estimate for installing 5 glass block windows (w/ vents for air flow) in our basement. Both times when they came out (estimate and installation), they were prompt, courteous, and professional. Bizik does NOT use the factory made glass block windows you see in the Menard's or Home Depot circulars... after taking the measurements, they make the glass block windows at their facility and bring them out to install them when they're finished and cured.

1. The estimate of $600 covered everything, didn't creep up, and held true. You could tell that these two employees have been with the company for a while, because they were so quick and efficient when it came to removing the old windows, prepping the surfaces, and installing the new glass blocks. AMAZINGLY FAST!!
2. Believe it or not.. our basement is actually safer and brighter now with these glass blocks.
3. My only regret is that I should have done this years ago!!

Outstanding. Our neighbor had their's done a few weeks ago and shared how pleased they were with Bizik's. When they mentioned that the company was in Whiting I said and quot;oh them -- since I was a child 50+ years ago everyone associated glass block windows with them. and quot;We called, someone came out within two days and measured, without our needing to be there, and left a brochure with style choices for us. When we called back for the estimate we were asked which of the three style blocks we were interested in, how many windows, and did we want vented on any. We were given an immediate estimate and choice of dates within a week. An experienced two-man crew called in the morning with a 30 minute estimated time frame and arrived right on time. We.had been told when we scheduled that the work would be done from inside and we needed to clear out space under each window. We were unable to do that under one window without taking down some wooden shelves, but when the installers arrived they used a small ladder and said they would work around them. The job took two hours. They removed and took away the six old windows after tearing out the old wood framing all the way to the foundation block. The mortar work looks good and they cleaned up completely. They demonstrated how to unlock and open the vent as well as how to remove the screen. Two of the windows are visible from our deck (and no joke) and they really update the house.

They did an excellent job. They have a very quick turnaround for estimates and very quick turnaround for delivery. We were astonished that they were able to charge so little. We are going to use them again next week.

Everything as promised. Installers explained that if I wanted old window and trim removed it would damage surrounding tile, but they kept damage to a minimum and tile was repairable. Looks great.

I'D RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING GLASS BLOCK SERVICE BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY TREATED ME, AND THE PROMPT WAY THAT THEY DID THEIR JOB. MY NEIGHBORS HIRED A DIFFERENT COMPANY, HAD THE SAME WORK DONE WITH ONE LESS WINDOW, AND PAID MORE THAN I DID.
