Crew completed the job on time. Communication was a little confusing and wish more detail was in the estimate. Patio and steps look good. Quality will only show over time and it's just been through the winter. I do wish the steps were mortared instead of glued in place. Hope the adhesive lasts a long time.

Retain it did a very good job and I would use them again. We met with them a few times before our project and they always showed up on time and were professional. They had good design ideas and I thought they added a lot of value to the project. We even had them move the fire pit after it was partially built and there was no additional fee. With many other contractors, this is a change order and additional cost. There overall fees were 30% lower than another bid I got.

I have used Retain It several times over the past few years.  My biggest complaint is their responsiveness to giving estimates and dates for service.  They tend to be slow in that area.  The paver reset looks great and like a new patio - very happy with that.  The ivy beds were totally out of control and they did a pretty good job of getting them back under control and did a good clean up. The stone path is attractive and eliminated the dirt path that existed and tracked in to the house. Overall I am happy with them. They are courteous and professional to deal with.

The job went very well. We received the estimate the previous fall but their schedule was too full to begin work until the following spring. Once the weather cleared and we picked out our stone and they got started. The project was completed almost entirely by hand which reduced destruction of existing trees and driveway. The job was a big one with the wall down by the street starting at over 6 feet high and then following our driveway up the hill for over 100 feet. There are two additional but shorter walls in the yard to help terrace the steep slope. At the top of the driveway, walls were replaced to retain the backyard and garden. During the job, we asked for a few changes and they were totally flexible. Jeremy will tell you what he likes but easily defers if you want something different. He also encouraged us to purchase the type of stone that we got rather than going for a more expensive style. He was right. It looks great. We received three estimates for this job. One company could not handle the work in the front yard. The other one wanted to treat the job like it was for an interstate highway and estimated around $65,000. We are very happy with Retain It and their work.

The men cleaned out the old wall of broken concrete and rocks and hauled it away. They then built a sturdy wall around a utility box that we have to provide access to. The job was completed in a day. The workers were polite and worked steadily until it was finished.

My only complaint was that I had to wait almost 2 months for them to get to me - but they were busy because they do good work. So not really a complaint.

Jeremy was very prompt in coming out and getting an estimate to us.  We were pleased with the amount and contracted with him to do the work.  They were very busy with other work but came to do the work on the date stated. The job took a bit longer than they expected, but we were very pleased with the whole job and clean up.

On July 22nd Retain It Landscaping came out and installed a 100ft retaining wall and built us a 10x12 dock. We were impressed with this company all the way through. They are very hard workers, did everything mostly by hand. They parked the trucks in front of our house and carried or used wheel barrows to get the supplies to back of the house for most of the job. Bobby the owner of the company was here the time that they said they would start the project and they finished in the time frame that they said they would. They cleaned up any gravel or dirt that fell onto the street. They take pride in taking care of their customers properties. Many of our neighbors around the pond have had Retain It Landscaping build their docks and I am happy that we used them for our project. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.
