Kirby Brothers Plumbing

Were not careful while installing toilet. Did not do the full job, did not clean. Caused a leak that lead to thousands of dollars of damage to the house and they did not want to take responsibility. If you look at their page, they are not actually Angi approved. They also don’t seem to have the proper licensing. Insurance is covering most of the work, but because of the laziness and dishonesty of this company, we have had workers in the house for days fixing the damage, our insurance rates will go up, and we had to spend our first couple days home from the hospital with our newborn at a hotel (that was when we discovered the leak). Shame on you, Kirby Brothers, for not making it right when you messed up.

The garbage disposal (GB) was properly installed but the installer tried to convince me there could be extra installation charges beyond what I had paid Lowes. The GB was the same brand and had the same design as the previous GB. He could not explain what these potential additional charges would be for and ultimately dropped it. I would not recommend this company and would strongly advise Lowes to drop them from their list of installers.

When he quotes per hour and says two people will be there, he actually means he is quoting per hour per person to be there even if it's a one person job so it's essentially a double charge. Customers beware.

Excellent! They were super quick, professional, efficient, and pleasant. They went above and beyond and were so kind. Cannot recommend them enough. **We had already purchased the toilets and faucets; cost of service does not include cost of those materials.

Water heater is been mounted and left with leaks, kicked in place. Guy was swearing and needed my help. Overall he was nice, just rushing through a lot of jobs and don’t think it was only his fault. Now i have a leaking heater and need to call another company to fix their mess.

Great! The initial hot water heater that was installed was defective and Mr. Kirby personally came out that evening to stop the leaking. We were so impressed with his personal commitment to install a new heater as soon as possible and coordinate with Lowes to make that happen.

They did a great job.

Kirby and Lowes have a relationship for installation. Kirby came when stated, installed the water heater and was complete in less than 2 hours. It has been about a month with no problems with the water heater.

Spent a lot of time trying to repair before deciding it needed to be replaced. Original parts are not made anymore, needed upgrade.

It went very well.    In addition, have used before for the installation of shower doors and a new commode.  All the work was excellent, timely and quality work.

Very good. They called in the morning and then ten minutes before they arrived. We both got to my house at the same time so there was no wait time. They had everything up and running in half in hour. I have had a ton of water heater problems and they gave me maintenance tips and handled getting everything back to Lowe's. Would definitely use them for other plumbing jobs.

Very professional, appreciate Charles and Joe being on time and were nice to speak with.  Able to remove old water softener and install new with no mess or water being spilled in my basement.  Walked me through how to operate the new softener as it was completely different than my old softener.  Appreciate the work.

They are excellent. They are on time, incredibly kind, very clean and cleaned up after themselves.  They are very respectful and courteous.

Everthing went well. they were originally scheduled to install the water heater on late Friday afternoon, but the installer got caught up in rush hour traffic. I had a previous committment and they couldn't do it that day. They offered to come back anytime on Saturday and do the instsallation. They showede up as promised and had the job done in 45 minutes. They were very courtious and professional and I would recommend them for any plumbing service.

They're really good. They did a good job and I was so happy with them. I will call them again.

It went very well. I did not remember where the blocks had been installed for future grab bars. He did not hit a stud on the first try, but had devices for securing these if that was the case. He did hit a stud for the second portion of that installation. On the second grab bar he hit the stud without difficulty. He also installed a hand-held shower to the existing shower. He allowed me to help him home certain pieces out of the way during installation, so that it was easier for him to work.

My experience overall went very well. They were professional.

We were notified around 6pm that the water heater at one of our rental properties was bad. I was able to give Bob Kirby the tenant's phone number and he worked with them to set up a time to replace the water heater. Bob came out and replaced the water heater but also noticed that a drain was clogged. He was able to refer me to a company to clear the drain. The work was completed on time and budget.

Had to grind down metal seal for toilet, and had trouble fitting new vanity to existing drain pipe. Exchanged one style of vanity for
another and made it fit. Labor cost was more than originally quoted.
