We had used their services previously. We were happy with the work they did and hired them again. They completed the carpeting and tiling in about two days. I contracted directly with their salesperson Michael. He was in contact with me through the whole process and took care of all the arrangements. The tile is absolutely beautiful and looks like marble. The installation was perfection and the tile technician was wonderful! They have some great installers that complete the work. They are very courteous, professional, and always arrived on time. They left no mess behind and it was clean when they left. I would use their services again!

We had some puckering in the carpet within the first year of owning the house, but it was minor. Now, the puckering is significantly worse. I called them to ask for service and the lady I spoke to said that she would speak with her company VP and call me back to figure out what they could do. After a week, I did not have a return phone call. My wife decided to call to follow-up and the lady she spoke to stated that she told me that there was nothing they could do. That was a lie. She stated that they do not not have a structured service department, but that she would talk to her VP and figure out what they could do. My wife told her that we were bothered that they didn't take to time to call us back and let us know what they could do. We were willing to pay them as we understood that we are out of warranty. We were hoping for better customer service. We had another company come out and look at the carpet and they felt that the issue is an install problem. The carpet was intalled in the winter and they laid the carpeting without allowing it to sit inside long enough to warm. When this was explained to Vinylcraft's representative she became upset and said there is nothing they can do and hung up on my wife. A good company would have sent out somebody to look at the carpet and at minimum discount their cost as a measure of customer service, specifically if they agreed that the carpet was not installed properly. When it comes time to replace our carpet, we will find another company with a better rating on Angie's list.

After living in our home for less than 1 year all of the carpeting started to bunch up - even in rooms we never used. At our 1 year walk through we mentioned this problem and were told to contact the company to restretch the carpeting throughout the house. Someone came out and "restretched" the carpeting-no furniture was moved and a knee installation method was used. Not long after, the carpet bunched up again and resembled speed bumps in several rooms. We contacted Vinylcraft in 2006 to have this problem resolved. It took several phone calls for anyone to come out and look at the carpet. When someone finally did no one ever called us back with an answer. Four months later, I was able to speak with someone who said this was not under warranty, was not their fault, and it could be restretched for a fee-not only to restretch the carpet but an extra $500-$1000 to move my furniture. I did question why the furniture was not moved when this was covered under warranty and they could not provide me with an answer. When I received this response I contacted the carpeting manufacturer to see what else could be done- they stated that if the carpet was faulty it would be covered under warranty- however if it was improperly installed any warranty was void. I then contacted another carpeting installer to take a look at the carpeting. They stated that it had been improperly installed and that the backing was damaged in several areas where it had been bunched up and their recommendation was to spend money on replacing it rather than restretching it.

Work was performed well, but they could have been earlier given the amount of work they had to do in a day (they stayed very late) and they scuffed the walls in quite a few places, which I had to repaint.
