Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for services. I scheduled online as stated. I received no response and call the phone number listed. Jay returned my call 2 days after the schedule service and stated he had been away at a family emergency. He asked what I need to have done and I explained and said he would call back to schedule.

He told me that he could only do the work on the weekends as he worked a full time job and that he had so many new clients from this offer that he couldn't get to them all

 + -1 moreWhen he asked me what kind of mulch I said brown, instead of the chips, it was a more fluffy stuff. This very well could have been my fault, but it doesn't absorb as much water. Responsive, very professional, and punctual. The quality of their work was excellent. We had a barren patch of grass under a huge elm tree with no sun and a frequent visits from our dog and he suggested to mulch it. I really like that idea and it looks great.
Description of Work: They pulled weeds, transplanted a couple bushes, trimmed some trees and other bushes and spread mulch.

Description of Work: Purchased a "Big Deal" 4 hours of Landscaping for $99. Initially I was able to schedule an appointment but the contractor cancelled twice with lame excuses. After cancelling twice all following emails, phone calls and text messages have been ignored. It was too late to receive a refund. I'm now leery to purchase any more Big Deals after such a bad experience and throwing $99 out the window.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal . I contacted Top Notch Landscaping many times. When I spoke with them they would say they would call me when they could do the job. But I would not heard back. After a while they would not answer the phone. I contacted a representative at Angies List who also tried to contact them. I have requested a refund.

Description of Work: I had scheduled online for the work to be done July I, 2, or 3rd then tried calling 1-866-249-1341 I called many many many times, when I could not leave my message because his phone messages were full, approximately 2-3 weeks or longer he did call and ask he ask me to call and leave my address on his phone, I was never ever able to reached his answering machine to put my address ( still full ) but thought he had it from Angie's list order. he has never called again so I decided I had waited long enough ( June 24 is when I first ordered and paid ) at one point he said he would call by Fri. 6-26-15 but he never called til much later so needless to say I have been very disappointed in Top Notch Landscaping and this is the 1st Time I have used Angie's List also, so I hope I can get my 99.00 refunded back to the card I have on file. Thank you.

Description of Work: Order #2088406, $99 for 4 Hours of Lawn or Landscape Work Top Notch Landscaping. I would like a refund for this service. The landscaper has canceled 2 appointments, He called to cancel the first appointment when he was already an hour late. He claimed trouble with his truck and promised to get back to me in a couple of days. He never called back. I called and texted him numerous times with no response. When I finally left a message saying I would contact Angie's list if he didn't return my call, he contacted me. We scheduled an appointment for today (7-23) at noon. He called me at 11:10 wanting to reschedule for Monday. I declined. Both times I arranged my schedule to accommodate him and ended up wasting my time. I'm not willing to do it again. I suspect he wanted to reschedule for Monday when my 30 day refund period would have expired. I don't believe he would ever have performed the work. I hope you will not use this contractor in the future.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced railroad ties used for steps. Reset the brick pavers in the steps. Hauled off old material.
