I contacted Michael Barry via the link on the American Society of Home Inspectors website (ASHI). We were looking to buy a small house near Bass Lake, Indiana, and I didn't know where to look for a professional inspector. I didn't see any recommendations on Angie's list and decided the next best thing was to look on the internet for professional organizations. I emailed Mr. Barry on Wednesday night and he responded quickly with answers to my questions. We arranged for the inspection on Saturday. My husband met him at the house, he was on time and the inspection was done. My husband thought he did a great job and he's not easily impressed, so that was a good sign. By the next day we had our thorough inspection report. Between the prompt answers to my questions, the quick availability and the professional inspection/report, this turned out great. I also liked the fact that he was willing to travel the 40 miles from his town to Bass Lake.
