We couldn't be happier with the quality of the actual concrete work. However, they left behind a huge mess in our backyard. The Bobcat they used left deep ruts. The lumber they used for the forms is still in our backyard as are several large sheets they used to cover the concrete while it cured. They also left behind a sheet of plywood with what I estimate to be 300 pounds of leftover concrete. We originally planned on hiring them to do some additional concrete work related to our sun room, but they did not return emails or inquiries posted to their website. We have a beautiful sun room, but cannot fully enjoy it because it looks over our damaged backyard (see attached photo).

It went very well. Scheduling was a little difficult; it took some time to get them set on a date. The overall work was very good. The staff were all very professional and polite. They did a lot of work including the removal of old concrete and limestone with the setting of new concrete. It only took one day to complete all the listed tasks. All our neighbors are impressed with the work they did.

We contacted John Cooper about installing our patio in the fall of 2012. We agreed to a design and a cost however John had other projects he was working on. By the time he was available, the weather was not ideal for pouring concrete. Unfortunately, the weather didn't really get better until the spring of 2013. We weren't in any huge hurry so we were okay with the delay. He poured the patio at the beginning of June and it turned out great. We will definitely use his company again for our next concrete project.

The workers cut my electrical to the irrigation system after I had told them wear it was and to avoid. We even made the patio smaller so this wiring would not be under the patio. We had several talks about avoiding this and it still happened. I called and told the company how much it would cost to fix this and they told me that it wasn't their responsibility and they would not pay it. I was very disappointed and went back and forth with them about it in hopes to have it fixed or even partially paid for by them. In the end, I ended paying the full electrical costs for the repair. With regard to the actual concrete work, the patio did turn out beautiful. It was just too bad that this was the overall experience I had with him.

John was friendly and business-like. He was prompt to return phone calls, worked quickly, and the work was preformed when promised. He did a good job preparing the area to remove the steps without causing any damage to anything else. The front steps and landing were replaced. He also added rebar to tie the steps into the house so they wouldn't fall away again. He did a beautiful job and I am very happy with the results! I will use him again for any concrete work I need in the future.

John tried hard to be professional and curtious. Fair price and hard work. He and his helper did entire project in 2 days. He called at end of day 1 and solicited input on what we saw so far. They did a big job in a short period of time. Some slight issues existed, due to being in a hurry, but overall am pleased. I think ALL work is rushed now-days, nothing against John Cooper specifically. I would use him again...and that is the bottom line. Minor issues not for publication - front porch was shorted about 2 feet (not noticed until job was completed, wanted and asked for it to be the same), cigarette butts all around property, nails from forms - pulled and left all over general area, side of concrete along walkway has a what looks like a big tear line (not solid) - will let water in and hopefully won't pop top surface of concrete at a later date. He did a nice job of regrading the stone driveway after running the "bobcat" all over it. Thoughtful and appreciated.

Punctual, courteous, did a great job; less expensive than another well known company, received many compliments from neighbors.

We spent $2300 on that work. They were very professional and I thought they were a little high, but I liked how they cleaned up. They had extra gravel and they poured that on our driveway.

They were on time, very thorough, and cautious, extremely courteous and had very favorable rates. Not only do they plow but they also shovel by hand where they cannot get a plow.

The job went very well, overall. John ensured he understood what the end result was to be, and was not satisfied until it looked exactly as we wanted. He discovered there were three pours in the ground, making the removal of the old sidewalk more difficult. Also, the depth of the old sidewalk necessitated additional labor and material. John never made an issue of the additional work, and charged a very modest amount for doing it. The crew arrived and completed the work as scheduled, were polite, and professional. They were as meticulous with the expansion cuts and sealant as the pouring and finishing. We are pleased to recommend John's company.
