Aero Drapery

We met with highly-rated drapery companies to get quotes for the design, construction and installation of valances in two rooms. David Braun, Aero Drapery, helped us select the fabrics and valance designs that would best meet our criteria. During the process we never felt rushed or any pressure. Before he left, he took detail measurements and provided a fixed-price proposal for the fabrics and valances we had selected. Dave was more knowledgeable and professional than the other company reps that provided quotes. In addition, Aero’s proposal was much lower and required a smaller deposit. Five weeks later, Mark Hopper, who is a perfectionist, installed four 38” cornice valances and one 144” swag valance. As impressed as we were working with David, we can’t overstate the attention to detail by Mark and the Aero production staff. We were so happy with Aero, we decided to have a valance installed in another room. Once again, the entire process could not have been better, with Mark installing a 77” swag valance less than four weeks after our meeting with David to get the proposal. Thanks also to the Office Manager, Sondra, who kept us informed of the project status at every step.

Most recently, I've been dissatisfied with them. I called to have some draperies cleaned. Being home alone, I don't answer the door unless I know someone is coming. I had made the appointment, but the man that came did not indicate who he was or who he worked for, so I wasn't sure who he was, and he was upset about it. It didn't sit well with me. I thought his attitude was inappropriate. Previously, I have really, really liked them and they've been great. It was just the man that showed up, I didn't appreciate it.

David Brown came out and spent the time helping us go through samples and what would be best for us and he did the measurement. He has worked a long time for the company and knows the business well. He was very pleasant and on time. He did not interrupt our conversation when his phone rang; letting it go to voice mail which I appreciated. He went through the pros and cons of each blind according to how much light the blind lets in and how easy it was to use. On April 7th much Mark Happer came to install blinds. He was on time, very professional, cleaned up after he was done. He showed us proper use of blind and took the old blind with him. Both of these men are true professionals which are rare in todays no care market. They are pleasant, kind and understanding men.

Scott is fantastic at delivering and putting up the drapes. He does an absolute exquisite job. He does an awesome job! Sandra is just the sweetest and dearest person. I had some drapes cleaned and they picked up four sets of drapes and he also took a cushion. I thought my stains wouldn't come out and I was so grateful that they could perform the service.

Every aspect went well and pleasant results.

Fantastic-best in home service I have had in a long time!

They did a good job. They came in and took down some draperies.  We had a window replaced and in so doing they took our draperies down and we couldn't get them back up.  They came in and cleaned them and then put them back up.  They did a good job.  I don't recall the price, but I thought it was expensive. I haven't done this done before, so I don't have anything to compare them too.  The quality of work and A, but cost wise a C.  Their timeliness wasn't perfect.  They were supposed to return the drapes and called and asked if they could do it a week later.  That did work out with my calendar though.  It was because their shop was closed due to a vacation. They were slow in getting out here to start.  If I had been having a party or something where I needed the drapes cleaned, it could have been a problem.  But I wasn't, so it all worked out.

Arrived on time-introduced self-very efficient-friendly-explained the process-demonstrated how drapes worked-clean up before he left.

All good-Dave did a great job at sales & Mark did a great job on install!

It went great.  Mark has hung all my treatments with perfection.  Dave measures exactly to right and Mark hangs it all and does a great job cleaning up.  Both men are always on time for the appointments. 

Completed the cornice board in time to meet my requested date 9/21/15. Arrived and was courteous and professional. Job was completed quickly.

I'm sorry that I can't remember the salesman name who came.  He was on time and very personable.  Mark came and hung the draperies.  The only problem was that no one called to let me know what time they were coming until I called for times.  Great job hanging them.

Scott called me when he received the drapes to explain that drapes lined with black-out fabric often do not clean well.  The lining may "pill" and washing is sometimes more successful.  I told him to go ahead and try to clean them.  They turned out beautifully!!  They also had to remove the valance from the wooden board to clean it and then re-staple it to the board.  This also turned out beautifully!  They kept the drapes for us until the dust and dirt from our remodel was finished and re-installed them on 12/16/2014.

Their price is always high, but the quality of the workmanship is very dependable.

Aero Drapery is a joy to deal with - professional, helpful, committed to customer satisfaction - and they stand behind their products.  We bought an excellent ($1,166) set of blinds for our family room window in October 2013 and were very happy with them.  Then just after the one-year warranty period ended, the mechanism for raising and lowering the blinds failed.  Aero sent out a very cheerful and enthusiastic repairman right away, shipped the blinds to California for the repair, and had the blinds re-installed promptly, all at no cost despite the recent lapsing of the warranty.  The repair could have been over $320 but instead was free.

The service person did a good job. The cord replacement took longer than  expected, but he was working hard all the time.

Great job all around. This price was half of another estimate.

Dave is fantastic. He comes up with great ideas.Company is very professional.  Great Quality and on time with orders.
