J & S AUTO SVC

I called J&S because I had a leak in the coolant system of a Jeep Grand Cherokee.  I had replaced the lower hose myself hoping that it was causing the problem, but the next day it was still leaking.  I assumed it was the water pump, and called around for estimates.  J&S beat the next closest repair shop by $35 for parts and labor, and quoted me for a new water pump instead of a re-manufactured one like everyone else.  They said that they would probably have to add a little extra for new coolant.  I told them that I had just replaced the coolant when I replaced the hose, but if they needed to use new stuff I was alright with that.  I called them on a Wednesday and they were able to get my vehicle in that Friday.  I was called Monday morning and informed that the Jeep was ready to be picked up.  When I got there after work (they let me arrive a little later than their scheduled hours) the price was actually slightly less than what they had quoted me, and they were able to use the coolant I had just put in so there was no charge for that.  This shop is run by a couple out of a garage next to their house.  I personally love businesses like this because I always seem to walk away feeling like they care about the work they've done, and I can tell you that was the case here.  My wife and I talked with the owners for a little while after picking up the vehicle, and they weren't in a rush to take our money and get us out of there.  I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.  I know this is where I will be going  whenever I need repairs done to any of my vehicles.
