"Water quality such as yours is considered ‘extreme’. It requires a level of maintenance to turn it into good water. You can maintain the products yourself or we can, which we have offered. Either carries a cost. The fact is there is home owner maintenance required for any system to work properly, as we discussed on the phone. Upon arrival to your home on our most recent visit, the pump to the odor system was turned off and there was no salt in your water softener. Once our technician corrected these items. The water was clean, clear and odor free before he left. We have noted other visits to your home that upon arrival found the peroxide chemical tank was empty which is required for the odor removal. These are maintenance items only you can control. You were sold a system designed for your extremely bad water, not under any "false pretenses". The request for removal of your system was not bypassed, we simply didn't agree to your request of 100% refund. As per our phone conversation last week, you need to speak to the finance company with whom you chose to finance products from us to find out how to discontinue your contract with them. Filing social media/online complaints does not negate your financial responsibilities. We have responded to your service requests in a timely manner and given you suggestions on how to help, which you haven't adhered to. We don't want you to be unhappy, but at some point there is accountability on your part to keep the system up and running. We disagree with your assessment of Jack Faker. Jack is a 19 year employee with a solid reputation, ethics and morals. Rabb Water Systems is a 60 year old water treatment company with an exemplary reputation. There is nothing for either of us (Jack or Rabb Water) to gain in lying to customers. At this point we would be happy to part ways with you with a handshake and wish you the best. In closure, Rabb Water Systems disagrees with your assessment and we do not accept the hit being made to our good name."
"Hello [removed member name] I just recently stumbled across your review of Rabb Water Systems on Angie’s List from June. I wanted to touch base and follow up with your experience. I do apologize for the delay in my response, but I was not aware of your review until now. Your comments seem very favorable for our company. I am pleased to read that you have been satisfied with our staff and work and would use us again in the future. However, the grade that you gave us does not seem to reflect the same sentiment as your comments. You rated us an overall grade of a “C”. As a consumer myself, if I were searching for a service company, I would probably look elsewhere if the review showed a “C” grade. As a small company we live for referrals and word of mouth advertising. A below average grade on a trusted site like Angie’s List is very detrimental to our image. With or without Angie’s List, we strive to give our customer’s an “A” experience. What could we have done better to increase your grading? Your feedback is very important for us to learn from and make changes accordingly. Sincerely, Rusty R. General Manager Rabb Water Systems"
