Put off the majority of the work for four months with many excuses, then began to try to charge us extra for items they should have seen before quotes. Example: Area on main floor that we had planned on adding a bathroom had eight inches of cement visible from several, very accessible areas of the basement. Mr. Ritenour claimed there was no way to know this. When, after months of runaround, we met with CT Consultants to express our concerns, Mr. Ritenour became condescending, sarcastic, and quit. CT Consultants offered to come back, but we decided to finish the job ourselves. On the plus side: We generally enjoyed working with Scott and Sue at CT Consultants. CT was usually responsive to our calls and emails and willing to meet with us. The work that was accomplished was of mostly good quality. We disputed our final bill and CT Consultants ultimately made some concessions, and were willing to work with the Better Business Bureau. It is possible that homebuilding customers might have a much better experience. Not recommended for remodeling.
