The vacuum works fine now.
I later brought in a second vacuum cleaner which had been incorrectly diagnosed by another competing repair shop in town. The owner spent significant time figuring out the real problem and then gave the right advice for getting the machine fixed, as it was still under warranty. His shop is impeccable and he is very customer oriented. Mainly, he?s honest and straightforward.
