They were supposed to trim a bush that had been run into by a car. They were supposed to clear all of the dead limbs from the bush. We also had some ruts in a side yard from a furnace installation. We wanted them to fill those in. They did not tamp them down. So the ruts formed again, We had some tall grasses that they were supposed to divide and one that they were supposed to take out totally. They were supposed to build a wall around my tree. They didn't level it out. I texted them right away to request that they come out and look at the work that they had done on my tree. I attempted to contact them numerous times. The lady that was in charge never responded once. I did speak with the accountant. They never came back even though I had a written quote from them.

I cannot say enough about this company.  Although it took 3 months for the project to start after initial consultation, (due to heavy rains), but it was soooo worth the wait.   I must say that it was pricey, but I know for a fact that I, or any other local company could not have come up with this look.  I have over 25 types of plants, including japanese maples, moss covered boulders, undulating beds...it's amazing.  It took a team of 5 two days to complete.  They were very professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves extremely well.  I now have a front yard that I look forward to being in, and me and my husband both find ourselves staring at the beauty of it.  Becky said we would have color, color, color and I can't wait for Spring to see what it will look like!  Bottom line....if  you wan't custom, one-of-a-kind landscaping...and have the budget to do so...Small's is it!

I've had the pleasure of working with Becky Whitacre on several projects at my home since having moved into my home two years ago.
Every time I contact Small's, Becky comes out right away to see what I'd like done.  I'm always excited to see Becky and talk to her as she's an amazing landscape designer and has such artistic and creative ideas.  After Becky's visit, I always receive a written proposal and the work begins very soon after my accepting the proposal.  
Recently, a very hard working crew of Small's professional installed a brick patio in my backyard.  They started and finished the work all in one day and when they were done the patio was beautiful, the yard spotless and they even left with the same smiles that arrived with early that morning!  
Small's work is always exceptional.  I will continue to contact them for all of my landscaping dreams and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Small's is by far the best landscaping service in Northwest Indiana. Nancy Small just won a national award for design. I highly recommend her.

Julie came out with her workers and stayed  with them until most of the work was done.  The new landscaping matches my house.  There are multiple textures throughout and the colors of the plants and rocks wow. She said it was a one day job, and it was done in approx. 5 hours. The workers worked tirelessly.  They hauled out the old trees and shrubs. We couldn?t be happier with the outcome.  Next project ? back of the house!

They will be coming out in a couple of weeks to take care of the garden.  They are very expensive, but they are very good.  They always do a good job.  Sometimes, they are so busy and sometimes, they can get here right away.  They are very professional.  They sent the bill in the mail.

WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR TEN YEARS. THEY DO A FABULOUS JOB ON OUR YARD. THEY HAVE A GREAT CREW AND THEY DO THEIR BEST TO PLEASE. THEY DO THE JOB WE WANT DONE AND THEY ARE GONE.
