Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Northwest Indiana

Mr. Rooter saved me a ton of money. I called Roto Rooter first and that was a mistake. Roto quoted me at $10,000 and implied that digging and jetting was my only option. Mr. Rooter jetted from a different, already accessible point and saved me $9,000. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND them above the competition. Ask for Dave Boswinkle and Zach Schuck. They were extremely professional and even helped me clean up after.

Paid almost $300 to have basement floor drain routed about 15 ft, 3 months later we had the same problem and of course theres no warranty. We had another company come out to do the job right, routing 100ft and finding that tree roots were our problem. Friendly guy but the job just wasn't done right.

Good. No issues at all.

I found Mr. Rooter on Angie's list on 10/15/15. I called at 1:57 PM to schedule a plumber to rooter a clogged basement drain.  I was told that someone would be at my house by 3:00 PM.  At 2:37 PM I got a call back from a young lady explaining that another appointment that had previously cancelled now needed service and that they had to now needed to cancel my appointment. She said, I can get someone to you house on Saturday (10/17/15).  I consider this very poor customer service. 

This weekend I called the number provided on Angie's list and got an answering service she said no service for this area.  I confirmed with the internet site provided on Angie's list.  This information needs to be updated by Angies list or the Provider.

When another provider I contacted from Angie's list called me back and said they did not do this type of work I went on line did a quick search.  I had no one to come fix this problem so being Monday morning and this needing to be fixed. I went with the first one that would respond.

The reason for the B. On my invoice it has a column for Standard rate, $217.65 ...  Member Rate $185 you save $32.65   WE Paid $217.65   I feel the cost for such a minor job was on the high side.

Howard showed up 15 minutes before the 2 hour time slot I had been given.  He immediately went to work checking the drain, gave me 3 options to consider in terms of price and length of guarantee, but recommended the least expensive of the three.  I agreed, he worked on the drain, gave me some advice about ways to keep it clear as long as possible (the house is 50 years old so some problems are inevitable) and was done in under a half-hour.
Howard was very professional and I've experienced no further problems with the drain.  
This was probably the 3rd or 4th time we've used Mr. Rooter and I'll continue to call on them in the future.

It went great and works great too. No more sump pump problems.

Sometimes the best way to know the quality behind a company is when something goes awry. They came out to solve a clog issue at a rental property. I was unable to meet them but they snaked the main and believed the problem to be fixed. It wasn't, not due to incompetence or lack of original service, just one of those things. I contacted them and they rushed out to make it right. They stood behind the job and I would recommend them and use them in the future.

I would definitely hire him again with any plumbing issues.
