started out well....but once they have your money....GOOD LUCK. $24,000.00 dollars later we have 85% dead landscaping, they DID NOT REPLACE ONE SHRUB OR TREE! We had to remove most of the dead landscaping ourself, stumps from dead trees are still in the ground. At one point the trees actually came out of the ground and started pulling the fence with them. I could go on and on about this nightmare. Judy (mother of Brad, the owner, helps run HLS). She will give you the run around forever. We had the owners of this company to our home on three occasions trying to work with them...to no avail. Needless to say we cancelled our service with them, after paying up front 1200.00 for mowing service, they owe us a 400.00 refund and ....it has never been received. I call that stealing! Please learn from our mistake. In our case Judy lead us on from April thru August. We spent our entire summer looking at dead and dying landscaping, what a disappointment. Judy has an excuse for EVERYTHING! Please, please save yourself a lot of heartache, disappointment and time, find a reputable company. Hawkins Landscaping (HLS) charge professional prices, but treated us FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL!

They do a great job and we will continue to use them.

I hired HAWKINS in the tail end of 2012. At first there were hick ups due to the fact. They could never give me a time when they would show up. The following year, they started cutting lawn in May of 2013. First two cutting went as plan. Next cutting was AFU. After waiting nearly 11 hours from roughly 9am-8pm they show up to cut lawn at near night fall. I call their company 5 times that day. Seeing if they would cut on the following day. I don't think that my lawn looks great when it's cut at night. Owner tried to say, that if they cut it more than every two weeks it would make a differnce.

Yet everyone in my area cuts their grass on the average of TWICE a week. With a big lot like ours, I felt they should cut lawn on early Tuesday. Instead of late near dark on a Monday. A consumer shouldn't have to be frustrated to spend money for goods and services.
That is the only problem I had with Hawkins. In the end I felt, I could find a closer person to cut my lawn. That would have no problem preforming action when I need, instead of when they want to. I gave low marks only on the areas that they didn't understand the consumer shouldn't have to hunt them down on when they would show.

They are very professional, their prices are decent, and they are excellent. They don't come here at set times, but they started on Monday, and they are here every Monday unless there is pouring rain, in which case, they come the next day. I'd say their punctuality is excellent, and I will use them till I die.
