I got a check from my home owners insurance to pay them out and I got another check to have work done to have the repairs done and they are familiar with the house. They are the ones that took the base boards off. They know where they put them. They have the carpet sample. They have all this. I can't get them to come back. The issue on my end is I am a university professor. I travel all the time. I am in and out all the time and I can't just do it when someone else is available. I have to do it when I'm available. I can't understand that's a problem, but apparently it is. It has been about three months and I still have baseboards off, holes in the wall and no carpet there and they kind of blame me when I talk to them. They say they weren't available to come at that time, blah, blah, blah. I have given up on them, basically so I called the home maintenance place. I kept trying to get hold of them and wanted to get it done before March 10, but it was not possible. I was having people stay at my house, and I wanted the carpet to be done. I finally took a carpet sample to them. Because I travel frequently it was hard finding a time to have them come out. Sometimes they would not all me back or leave messages. The last physical meeting I had with them was March 6 and we discussed getting it done in April but then he never called back. I called again in April and he did not call back. I called in May and they did not call back. At this point I feel like it is kind of personal and feel like they don't want to work for me. They are just blowing it off. They did offer to do the work when I was away, but I was not okay with that. We did leave a lock box on the door. There was no point because it wasn't going to be done before my guests came to stay. I had two weeks that I was in town and was trying to call them to get them to come out. I still haven't gotten a response from them. At this point, there is no way this is going to get done. The guy that showed up was very unprofessional. There was an issue with the check. I had to call the insurance company to get another check. They would immediately come and pick up a check. That had nothing to do with the guy that was in charge of the project. It's insane. It's been back and forth phone calls. By the time they would get back to me, I was not in town. I would call back when I was in town, and at least try to get them to return a phone call when I was here. They won't do it. Now, they don't call at all. It was a negative experience. They really don't go out of their way to help you at all. It is just beyond bad.

My home owners insurance covered it. They were on top of the remediation. That was fast. They came and showed up. In terms of getting the water out, that worked. They showed up immediately for the remediation. They were punctual.

It could not have gone any better, Top quality work. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went well and was functional during the process.
