Countertop and Backsplash Service
They subcontracted it out to someone else. The service was fine and prompt. They made a mistake and then they fixed it. The mistake was that they put a seam in a place where it didn't need one without asking us. I thought that was negative but then they came back and fixed it. I looked at a lot of places and the price seemed about right.

It was fine, I have no problems. They did a nice job and everything fits just right. The installation went very well and they did what they said they'd do. Their price was a little bit higher than any other places but I like what they're doing.

Door Service
I got my money back. There weren't any hassles or anything, but what they told me they would do and what the department manager didn't do, there was a big difference. I am persona non grata because I went back to try to look in at some other doors and they were going to get back to me. It was okay when I was buying the door but after the second door went back, it was like they don't want to see me coming anymore. I had a problem with a very expensive sliding door that was over $4,000 job. They came and measured and I waited a month for the door to be made. They had a door installer and he came out and I bought the door, but once I got the door, I asked how long it was going to take and they said it was going to take about a month which it did but when I called the installer, he couldn't come for 6 weeks. I wasn't happy about that because I went back to Lowe's to the department manager and said that it was really a long time. They should have told me upfront. I ordered the door mid-April and July 3rd was when it was coming to be installed. I couldn't schedule the appointment until the door was in. The door came in after 3 weeks, and then I had to wait from first week of May until July 3rd. I thought that was pretty crappy. I said to call me if there was cancellation, but of course there was no cancellation. This door unit comes in with these installers. I thought he was out there quite a while and he goes,"You are not going to want this door." I asked, "What do you mean?" He said they need to show me all the problems and they haven't really unwrapped it. It was still in the paper and they were showing me all of these problems with the door and said, "You are not going to even want this door." I am relying on these installers telling me what was wrong with this vinyl clad wood $4200 door. They said they will take it back and they will talk to Lowe's and tell them all of their problems, which is what they do when I hire them. I said great. I have probably a 100-inch wide framed door with the frame on it. They took it back, I called up Lowe's and talked to the department manager and I said, "Jeremy, this door has all these problems. What are we going to do? I am sitting here 2 months later with no door. What are you going to do for me?" He said he is going to call the Pella rep and he is going to get him on to this and have him come in there and look at it. He said they were going to reorder me another one. It could have been either a phone call or a visit, and they said that the Pella rep said that he was personally going to look at it and make sure that the door that comes out of the factory is going to be 100% inspected and perfect before it leaves the factory. I waited another month then the door comes in. This time they decide to have their delivery guys drop it off and not the installers because they kind of insinuated the installers may have done something to it which they didn't. This door comes and it was not any better. I called up and I told them to get it right away because I don't want it to be broken. It was leaning against my garage brick wall. They sent the guys to pick it up. They don't want to deal with me. I kind of pinpointed this guy. He asked what exactly was wrong with the door and I went through all the stuff. He was like, I looked but I didn't see any. There was a multitude of problems. He put me on the spot and I was out telling what the installers told me. When you have a metal frame that is cracked through and through, and you just spray painted over it, then that is a problem. I paid for the wood to be painted on the inside and it was all damaged. It was just painted over and I could see it. There were scratches. I said when I can put my hand between the vinyl clad and the wood that's rough on the exterior, I think we got a problem. He said it's like that but I don't think so. It was not even attached. I asked what other kind of door and he said he was going to price it out, but I haven't heard from them. They don't want to deal with me. I did get my money back but it took a while, and there were problems. They forgot to process it and the other one was sick, and they didn't process it and then I called, and finally got my money back. Take it for what it's worth. I don't have a door and they won't call me back about the other door. They don't want to deal with me. I have 2 expensive power doors returned and I was also promised that "This Pella rep was going to be heavily involved to make sure the door was perfect before it came out of the factory to my house." The manager said he didn't see anything wrong with it and asked what was wrong with it. "Why don't you come out to my house and look at it and we'll go over it while it is at the driveway leaning against the wall?" We did not even get it totally unwrapped. We were just uncovering it. We didn't take it all apart but it was just obvious. I said I am not going to pay that kind of money for this. I am not going back to them for that either. They gave my money back but I don't have a sliding door. They didn't give me a hard time at all about giving me my money back but I don't feel the customer service. Pella has a good reputation, but not this one. This is the most expensive sliding door you could buy. They showed up when they said but I was really put off by the installing date. No one told me I was going to wait a month for the door and 6 weeks for the install. The second door came in within 2 weeks and when the guy called me I said I wanted to be put on the list. I should be on priority so they did come out quicker. When I had them send the guy back to see if we could make the opening wider or shorter to get a stock sized door, he came out and he said they turned on Lowe's but haven't heard a word from them. They don't want to deal with me. He did come back after the second door problem to measure to see if we could enclose it or open to get a stock-sized door and not a special order. They were great when I was buying but they sent this guy with the construction to come back out and help resolve the problem and tell me what I need to do. He came out and did all that and turned it in to Lowe's and then they called me with a quote. They never did call me about the door. It was obvious they don't want me. It is fine. I will take my business and my money elsewhere. Honestly I've never had a problem with them. I just don't feel that they really looked the second door over and took care of me or we wouldn't have that problem because I wanted the door. If they had done what they said the second time then I get the beautiful door that I paid for, it would be in my patio right now. I feel like they really didn't take care of me as a customer like they said. I didn't see any Pella rep coming out here or anybody solving the problem.

The people were so nice. They installed my dishwasher too and I'm telling you that was the best installation I've ever had in my life. He is the most professional guy. It's just nice to see friendly and nice people.
