Land & Son Paving & Seal Coating

We recently were looking for a paving company to do a large asphalt driveway. Land and son sealcoating reached out a few times, so we decided to get a quote from them. We signed a contract to have the work done almost 7 weeks ago and they still haven’t done the work. We didn’t pay any money up front, so that’s a good thing. But, we had to move our fifth wheel to a temporary location, it’s been there for over a month now because they kept saying they were coming, then it didn’t happen. We even had to cancel a camping trip because of them! At first they told us the Danville asphalt plant was broken down and that they had pre-paid for the asphalt, so they couldn’t get it from somewhere else. They rescheduled two or three times because that. They finally showed up over a week ago with a bobcat to get started; they were here about an hour, the bobcat never left the trailer, and they told my husband that the bobcat had a hydraulic leak and they had to go get another one. They never returned and since then, they’ve completely ghosted us. They won’t respond to emails, phone calls, or text messages. However, they are still posting on other chatter pages that they are giving estimates. Land and son sealcoating

They prepped on a Sunday in 3 hours and completed an ENTIRE driveway in one day. Instead of removing gravel like I had initially asked, they brought down a ton of gravel from my neighbor's house because I "didn't have enough". They then laid down the asphalt after that, but now every time it rains, there is extreme flooding around the house. Tried to contact the company many times and after several attempts, finally caught him on the phone and after coming to survey the work he did, he confirmed that he needed to lay down more asphalt. We had set an appointment but when the time came he never showed up. Tried to reach many more times but there is no answer.
