The representative who called me (didn't realize I was "requesting" a call when I filled out the online form; but it annoyed me not to be able to look over potential providers and choose which ones I would call.) was so proud of himself for calling me instantly (as soon as I hit 'enter', presumably) that my immediate reaction was to hang up. I tried to find the company on Angieslist.com while I had him on the phone; the address I came up with had a "C" rating and he convinced me that that particular franchise was out of business, but his was top notch. (Not being able to browse and converse simultaneously, I gave up on that argument.) The price sounded reasonable ($135) and he was able to schedule me during a window of time I had available, so I agreed to book. I asked if I would be sent an email confirming the time, date and anticipated cost of the cleaning and he assured me I would. I didn't write the date down, but figured I would remember due to other commitments I had that day. A week went by with no email received, even in my 'junk' folder. Out of the blue, the office called me the day BEFORE I thought I had scheduled and complained that they had been trying to reach me and had to delay their serviceman to the 'end' of the window because I hadn't answered. That wouldn't work for me due to other commitments, so I suggested that we just cancel the appointment. He then offered to get me scheduled on the day I had originally thought we WERE scheduled, and amazingly enough, during the original window of time. I pointed out that I hadn't received the promised email and he had no reply to that. Rating of the office contact - solid F for lousy customer service. The technician who arrived was polite, quick, and thorough - however, it appeared that the original quote was for a 'basic cleaning' and I really needed to shell out for a deodorizer which would double the original cost - and if I wanted him to deep clean my kitchen tile as well, that would be an ADDITIONAL $135 (apparently the minimum charge). I opted out of both, asking that he do just the basic cleaning. (I agreed to an add-on charge of $14 for 'waste water' - by this time I just wanted to get it done.) The technician gets an A for services rendered - I'm sure he didn't come up with the spiel for the extra charges on his own, and he did do a terrific job. Will I hire them again? Unlikely if I have to talk to the same person from the office again!

Summer's Heating Cooling and Air Conditioning recommended them to me and they have a way they check a provider out themselves personally before they would highly recommend them to a customer of theirs.  I really like that.  There just really thorough with everything that they do.  So they recommended Coit Carpet Cleaning and that's what I did.  Cheaper than anyone else I had called.  It was less expensive and more thorough.   They said if they were doing the carpet cleaning and the duct work that they would also change any ducts that may need changed if needed.  It was really good being 73 years old and find people you can call and have come out to your home and do the job right and be so kind and professional and thorough.  I know if I have a carpet problem I'm going to Coits'.
