I was given the name of Kevin St. John as a recommendation on a Tuesday evening. I called The House Doctor and was able to speak to Kevin; no answering system that never gets answered. We talked and I was satisfied enough with his plan to ask him to come to view and give an estimate. He did this on Thursday evening of the same week. I liked his plan and his estimate, and we agreed that he and his helper would come Friday morning for the repairs. They came Friday morning and finished the repairs that afternoon. They had to raise the house slightly to install the sill plate so the front door was raised and tight. No problem. Kevin and his helper adjusted the door. No hurry up and leaving things half done. The doorway looked and worked great.
I was at work when the work was done. I spoke with Kevin when things were finished. He told me what he did and agreed to give me a detailed account of his work so I could show any potential buyer. He gave me a very detailed report.
I told him that I wanted to inspect the work before I met with him to pay him. No problem. I came home from work, crawled under the house, inspected the front doorway and was impressed. Paid the man for his excellent work.
All the work looks great and professionally done. I am ready for any inspection now.
You can see in my ratings that I have given all "A's." I would highly recommend his work.
