7/18/24: It sure has been an EXHAUSTING journey with them. Just left a voicemail with them again as when call them, 99% of the time it goes to voicemail and 1% get to talk to a human. As you all never return your voicemail anyways. Our first call to request service was on 7/8/24. First tech to service came on Friday, 7/12, after multiple calls and following up with them. Refrigerator was fixed for less than 24 hours and stopped working. Since Monday (7/15), called multiple times. Finally tech came in today afternoon. Based on our talk with the tech, who is actually the owner from what we understood, it seems like they are having manpower issues and hence they are backed up in meeting up with all the tickets they have open for servicing. Hope they get this resolved soon as it definitely made our experience quite painful.

Just said goodbye to Aaron, the technician who was dispatched to service our Samsung Frame TV. The service call was arranged through Samsung Support, though warranty coverage has expired. (We would not have known about Jeannie's otherwise.) Appointment was scheduled only 1 day after submitting the request, and the appointment date was only 3 days later. Points for promptness. Technician Aaron arrived as scheduled and with advance notice of his arrival time. Points for communication. Aaron is an engineer who previously worked for Samsung designing product relatability. Huge points for technician knowledge. Aaron quickly tried an inexpensive fix but the problem was elsewhere. Points for ethics and customer savings. When fully diagnosed, the repair would have cost 2/3 that of replacement, so we chose not to move forward with the repair and to pay only the trip charge and diagnostic charge, a reasonable $129. More points for customer savings. Aaron also provided great advice about selecting a replacement, based on his firsthand knowledge of how Samsung builds its biggest TVs by hand and those have much lower defect rates. More points for technician knowledge. And throughout the entire service call, Aaron proved friendly, trustworthy, experienced and helpful. Our experience with Jeannie's TV & Appliance was outstanding.

Short Version: I had a leaky washing machine I needed serviced. Instead of fixing that, the technician argued with me that it was the dryer and said he would come back out for free if was actually the washer was leaking. The washing machine is still leaking and instead of coming back to fix it for free like the technician said, they want MORE money to come out to fix it than they did the first time ($90 service fee VS $160 not including any parts or labor). Long Version: Called Samsung because my washing machine had water collecting underneath it. Service guy came out and said it was from the dryer vent not being attached properly to vent moist air. I asked him to look at the washing machine three times because the water was collecting on the ground underneath it and he refused. He said if that were somehow the issue, he would come out and fix it for free. I called back two weeks later and they no longer service my area. After going back and forth with them for weeks, they said they would come back out if A) Samsung could assign it to them in their system B) Samsung would cover the parts and labor for the fix and C) I would have a $160 service fee for them to come out instead of the original $90 I paid the first time. Their reasoning for the $160 was that the technician didn't charge me correctly the first time for millage. They didn't care that the technician ignored my requests on the original service call and outright refused "to come back out for free" as promised by the technician. It's not often I'm blown away by pure unprofessionalism, but wow. Just wow.

The only problem I had was there was confusion over the appointment, we got that all worked out and I was very satisfied with them. I have done work with Jeannie before. Jeannie is Asian she has her brother I think working for her and sometimes he is very hard to understand or doesn't understand you. so that plays into it but they are very nice to do business with, I've never had any complaints about them.

When we had trouble, I was happy to call Jeannie's, who had been out to fix our dryer a few years back. They found the problem (just a bobby pin stuck in the pump--check your pockets!) and re-installed the old pump rather than charging us for a new one. They said they'd waive the charge for a later service call if the old pump didn't work and they had to install the new one (we'd just pay for the new pump). I also appreciate the professionalism: these folks sell new appliances, and they've been out twice to repair our old ones (still running after 12 years) without pushing a big purchase of a new machine in either case.

They are prompt. They are dependable. Their price is great. They are not cheap, but I don't want cheap appliances and repairs. They are kind, and their service person is very knowledgable. I think he could fix anything. They come as soon as you call them.
