ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC

She was so upset with them. They would not even look at her cat without a large payment up-front. The way they treated my friend was unconscionable.  She is on disability and she did not have enough money for them to see her animal. She was very distraught about her cat. They took her cat back and said they wanted to keep the animal for overnight as they had suspected it was anemic. She left and was very upset in the way they seemed to think her cat was very sick. Later, they called about six in the afternoon and said they would not have someone in clinic overnight and for her to come pick the cat up. The personnel were extremely rude and accused her of negligence and of almost killing her cat. He said that the cat was anemic because of fleas. She later took her cat to a veterinarian who kept her cat for over a week. She was shocked that they did not keep her cat when he was very ill. She also diagnosed the cat was not anemic because of fleas. They are an after-hours emergency service where most of the local veterinarians in the area will have their machine refer to this location. The people of this clinic were condescending, rude, and did not provide great care. The only reason I would go here again is if I had an emergency and they are the only emergency clinic in town.
