Very pleased with this company.  Replaced roof on both garage and house.   Did the garage in one day and then the house the next day.  Did a great job on cleanup - you would never have known they were here accept for two new great looking roofs.  Would definitely use again.

Very, very pleased with the work.  Alan's workers were amazing, on time, and were meticulous in their work.  They cleaned up after themselves and left no trash or debris behind.  Alan was always professional and always a phone call away if I had a question or concern.  He had an open line of communication with us and made sure we were happy with the work being performed.  Roof was torn off and new roof on in three days.  His guys did beautiful work and I would definitely hire Alan and his crew again.

A & L Roofing is professional in every detail.  Al, the owner, is exceptionally easy to work with.  On the rare occasion when he does not personally answer his phone, he calls you back immediately.  He was very patient with us as we selected our shingles, never pressuring us to choose a cheaper brand as some companies had done.  He knew it was a difficult decision for us and he gave us plenty of space to make it without any high pressure salesmanship. 















They carefully removed and replaced our satellite dish, and worked around several skylights.  The workers were friendly and very considerate in terms of moving vehicles, etc., while the job was progressing.  Clean up each day was perfect--every night after they left you could not tell they had been there during the day due to their neatness.  They worked the job continuously, finishing in a little over 4 days (the house is a 2 story with several Tudor-style gables and a 45-degree pitch).  Al had 4 to 5 men on the job every day, all day. Al also took care of contracting for an incidental bricking problem.















In the end, the roof looks fantastic.  We could not be more pleased.  Although I do not plan to put a new roof on before we retire, if storm damage would occur I would call A & L in a heartbeat.  Shortly before the job was to begin, we heard from long-time friends that they had contracted A & L several years ago, and were going to use the company again because of they happiness with the job.  These particular friends are as fussy as I am, and so I was convinced I was in good hands with A & L.  I give A & L my highest recommendation, and will mention only their name if someone asks about roofing.

A&L roofing  came promptly when I called for an estimate. Mr Fagg was professional and courteous.
Gave a detailed estimate and explained  details  without  me having to ask.
Three layers of roofing where estimated for removal - four layers were actually on the house.
I was not charged extra for the removal of the fourth layer, the crew worked well and the cleaned everything up .
Great job- done in 1 day.

Of the three estimates I got this was the only one who didn't want a 50% down payment.
Final price was actually below estimate as porch roof was in really bad shape so until the old roof came off they couldn't tell how much plywood would have to be replaced.

I can no longer recommend this roofer as a subsequent experience with the house roof did not go so well and is still to be resolved.

The roof was 1/2 inch plywood on 2 foot centers. They removed shingles, then replaced defective plywood then put 5/8 plywood down. They went beyond what was required. Also what impresses me the most was that the owner was the only contractor that said that there had been hail damage and to call the insurance company.

A & L is a very professional and yet friendly operation. They did an excellent job on replacing the roofs and siding. The workers were efficient and very careful about the quality of the work. The owner, Al does the estimates in person, and is reachable by phone to discuss options along the way. I highly recommend this company for roofing and siding.

They were wonderful! The owner is the one you get a hold of when you call and he guarantees his work. They came out super fast and were done in 3 days. The work looks AMAZING and I would highly recommend them! I wouldn't hesitate to use A&L at all!
