custom cabinets
 + -1 moreWe love, love, love the cabinets and movable cart. Nathan and his father Kyle Young craft beautiful and stunning cabinetry. He sent me emails with photos of the progress of the construction in their workshop in Spencer, IN. All cabinets were handmade with sturdy hinges. When we decided to remodel our kitchen, I visited the Owen County Cabinet showroom in Trafalgar, IN and decided that we wanted them to make the cabinets for us. We then found a contractor to do the other parts of the kitchen remodel. The Youngs were very patient with us because it took me an extended amount of time to gather all the other plans for the remodeling to begin. Nathan was flexible when scheduling the installation and he did a great job. The Young's are artists and wonderful craftsmen. We wanted sturdy, well constructed, unique and gorgeous cabinetry. Owen County Cabinet delivered that and much more. Thank you!
Description of Work: Nathan Young scoped and estimated a kitchen remodel of cabinets only. He was responsible for determining the plan, demolition of the cabinets, constructing the new cabinets and installation of same. The cabinets were solid cherry wood, shaker style with a dark stain. Installed the cabinet hardware and built a special window display cabinet for over the sink area. He applied a very strong protective varnish of several layers. Drawers were slide outs. Cabinets had adjustable shelves. We liked his work so much that we asked Nathan to build us a movable work cart with butcher block top as a kitchen island or portable work space. Beautiful craftsmanship!!
