ATTN: IU students, employees and all residents of Bloomington -
Please be aware that the moving company J&K Labor Moving and Hauling is NOT to be trusted. My husband and I recently hired them to help with our move on the 30th of July. Not only did they arrive over an hour late, they failed to load all of our household items into our Uhaul, and they didn't honor their hourly rate of $25/hr as advertised on their website. They also had my husband "pitch in" and made him disassemble all the furniture, but didn't credit us for his time and effort AND they charged us for their 30 min. smoke breaks. Lastly, they stole our baby stroller and refused to return it to us, even after contacting police and having a report filed. Please spread the word and do NOT use this sham of a company!

These movers were prompt, amazingly efficient, pleasant, and everything
was moved without a scratch. We felt that they did not charge very much
for the day's labor - two men. Professional companies (e.g., Wheaton) estimated about
$2000 for the local move; they charged less than 400 (we providved generous tips given
the low charge). We will use them again.
