Collision Concepts

I needed two small parts painted and was told that it would be no problem and that I could expect them back in one week and to call then. When I did I learned that they still were not finished. Against my better judgement, I opted to give them another week. When I checked back at the three week mark I was told that he just hadn't had the time to even start on them. He went on to explain that he had been busy with "insurance jobs" and it's those that "pay the bills". After realizing that he had put a number of "insurance jobs" ahead of mine and going well beyond the one week that I was originally promised, I finally chose to throw in the towel and pick up my parts. This is where the final straw came along; when I walked into the business I discovered this guy (who I had been dealing with and who I presume is the owner) sitting in a chair and talking to his friend who was seated nearby. Based upon what he had told me, I assumed that he barely had time to sleep let alone sit around and socialize! Despite this business looking professional from the outside it was anything but in terms of their performance. I find it amazing that a business would rank the importance of their customers based on the dollar amount of the job that they are paying for and while I can not comment on the quality of their work I can say that it doesn't matter. Anyone who continually ignores a small project (for triple the amount of time promised) for one that is bigger and pays more is just as much of a poor quality painter as they are as a businessman.
